Natwest wants to close the account of my son without explanation

I have absolutely no data on how many accounts are coming under scrutiny, so therefore I don't know whether there is an increase or not. Have you got any statistics on this that you can share?

What I do know is that we have seen what appears to be more reports of account blocking and account closures here on MSE. For most of which we never hear the final outcome, and for all of which we only have what the account holder reports.

Could you post on here all the deposits into the account for last 6 months? We do not need name and account details.

Never mind - none of my accounts have ever been blocked due to misuse, criminal activity or money laundering. I don't believe that you have even looked at the statements because like all students they will claim to have mislaid, lost, destroyed etc etc.
