My wife was self employed (well still is) she does beauty treatments
she understands it that since the lockdown she shouldn’t go out anymore and waiting for the letter to get that self employed help
but now we are not sure somebody said the law says if you can’t work from home then still go to work?

are you sure she is supposed to still go to work?
we need some clarification0 -
If the job can't be done from work it is OK to travel as long as social distancing rules are adhered to. It's difficult to see how anybody doing beauty treatments can do that from a distance of 2 metres.

She can go to work, but the problem is that she is always in contact with a lot of different people. Who knows if that person is infected, where was that person before coming to see her?
It's a bit risky.1 -
Sorry pal I was being sarcastic. It’s not the law.spencerrothchild said:

Where, physically, did she work? 'Hairdressers, barbers, beauty and nail salons, including piercing and tattoo parlours' need to have their premises closed: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/further-businesses-and-premises-to-close/further-businesses-and-premises-to-close-guidance
But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

There is no clarity
It’s like the government are covering their backs
they say stay home but still go to work if you can
what the hell is the official direction0
