Been using Iweb for a while and has mostly been okay. Best contact is via web chat so try to contact them online.
i don't see an option for web chat, i presume you have to be logged in to have that option?

It seems an obvious point but what happens when you try the 'Forgotten sign in details / access suspended' option? I do find it a bit strange that you haven't been locked out, could it be that they don't know who to lock out because the UserName is wrong? Just a thought

if i select that it says they're unable to reset my password online and to call them
so it seems i am locked out yet doesn't say this if i attempt to log in and lets me keep trying to!

It's a puzzler. I notice they let you get as far as the security question with an incorrect password but not an incorrect username. If you select the Forgotten sign in details link and then the Forgotten password checkbox, the next screen gives a 'your personal details' link instead of supplying your username. There you can enter your email address instead and you know that is right as you have received a welcome email. Have you tried that? I still don't understand why you haven't been locked out

i'll just have to try and get through to them on the phone....why can't they have an email or social media point of contact like most companies nowadays!

For the USA, a W-8BEN form needs to be completed (regardless of broker choice), and then resubmitted every few years, as per https://www.irs.gov/instructions/iw8ben

    Expiration of Form W-8BEN.

Generally, a Form W-8BEN will remain in effect for purposes of establishing foreign status for a period starting on the date the form is signed and ending on the last day of the third succeeding calendar year, unless a change in circumstances makes any information on the form incorrect. For example, a Form W-8BEN signed on September 30, 2015, remains valid through December 31, 2018.

However, under certain conditions a Form W-8BEN will remain in effect indefinitely until a change of circumstances occurs. To determine the period of validity for Form W-8BEN for purposes of chapter 4, see Regulations section 1.1471-3(c)(6)(ii). To determine the period of validity for Form W-8BEN for purposes of chapter 3, see Regulations section 1.1441-1(e)(4)(ii).

Simple form to complete - it was available online & I was able to email it to specific address. Took few hours to approve.
Only risk may be that iWeb are not accepting at this time - feels like they are working core activities only but check.
