Observice Parking Consultancy - Defence Advice for Court Claim

I think he was from DCBL, he did mention that the defendant has made several legal claims which he will not go into and that's why he was mainly focused on signs and terms and conditions, another interesting fact was that they appended the terms and conditions to their WS but it was an unsigned copy and also the main point which they were stressing about 'not parking in demarcated bay' had typo errors, they called car park as care park, I wanted to point this out to the judge but decided against it.beamerguy said:Well done, great result.
OPC and DCBL FAILED. was the legal from DCBL or one of those "rent by the hour" freshman they tend to send.
The fault is DCBL as they should have known ... had they done their homework and not just a robo claim, they could have advised OPC it was a non starter.
How daft was the legal rep saying you did not reply to letters. I think when these Judges get together, they must giggle at some of these legals for bringing timewasting cases to their court

Pretty sure he would not be an in-house DCBL person. None of these outfits expose themselves via their own staff to any potential slip-up which might incriminate them or their fee paying client (PPC).Did you catch his name? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

You did brilliantly and even got half a day's costs, whereas many Judges at my local Courts in Sussex never allow costs. It could have gone no better, IMHO. Well done! ANOTHER OPC ONE BITES THE DUST!easytry16 said:I wished I had someone with me who had legal background, maybe the above would have been very different

The rep is not from DCBLegal.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
