I love the idea of social distancing hats, we need them for adults too, although my brain cant quite work out the whole 1m/2m thing.
Yoga done (foot hurting now). Been making plans for garden re-landscaping part two, a few jumpers washed, oh and I have reorganised my built in bedroom cupboard and thrown out a big carrier bag full of gibble. Need to do DHs month end accounts so I can properly do my budget for next month.
DH is going to cut my hair later, I have short hair and it is driving me mad!!10 -
I plan on getting one of my long garden canes and cutting it to 2 meters, and taking it out with me, when I get my stuff back and the lockdown is eased to ensure folk are 2 meters away, I can put the stick out horizontally, if it pokes them they are too closeBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Well, I have been at the allotment for a few hours working solidly except for a brief shower when I sat in the shed and ate some crisps 😁 It is very slow progress, so I don't have much to show for my efforts except an aching shoulder and stiff hand 😭 I am now showered and gave myself a mini facial.
DH has been in charge of laundry today, so I have left him to it. DS's bedding has been washed and is waiting for him to put it back on. DH is cooking dinner, and DD2 is watching c**p on n€tflix. Everyone is back at work next week. Is it wrong that I am looking forward to an empty house so I can just get on with stuff without tripping over my grown up daughter?!
I think I am going to chill now - maybe read a magazine, or I might even look at my accounts! 😱
I will see you all on the new thread 😁9 -
Huge walk done, kids exhausted. Chicken dinner cooked, DW on, WU those bits that can't go in DW. Watching a movie now with a glass of red. Fresh bedding on too 🥰10

Evening all.
I have tidied up all the borders in the front garden as well as the raised-bed-rock-garden--railway-track, apart from planting up two tubs and weaving/tying the winter jasmine into its trellis. Rosie has had her walk, and I have cooked tea.
Heard some great news today: at not quite 11 months old, my littlest goddaughter already has a baby brother!
This evening I am going to have a shower, get back into my PJs after less than 9 hours in my day clothes, and look for a knitting pattern
See you all on the new thread!9 -
DD1 popped a little man at 10:08 this morning.. Lionel Bastian .. she is 5ft 1.. he was 9lb 12.5oz.. little fat chunk that he is !
I will share a pic when she allows me to, she knows you are all as big a part of my life as she is!
As a result I washed her pots, dried and folded her laundry and S&S'd her kitchen, vacuumed her living room and looked after 6 children all day... aged 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, and 8.

Piggers , he is beautiful. Congratulations to your DD1, and to you.
Slovenly flylady reporting in, full life member of the wide awake club. I’ve been flying outside all weekend, if that is even such a thing. Small boring jobs done indoors, dining room in the bag for next week 👍. But having finally caught up with the Fred, I want one of Kaz’s pokey sticks 😁.8 -
Congratulations! He is beautiful!
Done nothing all weekend as I just didn't feel like it, I am so over this situation now!
Will get back in it tomorrow
Positive vibes all round x10
