Hi Jazee [waves] - good to see you!
I hung washing out at 06:15 (but it was the last of 4 loads from yesterday)I have also
- checked finances: still awaiting payment of matured accounts :perseve:pensive:
- filed paperwork
- eaten breakfast prepared by DH
- S&S'd kitchen
- written a shopping list for groceries that I prefer to get from MrAl if possible, rather than MrS or MrW
- packed up cake, scones and family history papers to deliver to my friend S's front doorstep, if she ever replies to my text message
I definitely want to get out in the garden later this morning, so I'd better get my skates on.
asb, enjoy your forest walkI wish we could go to our local forest, but it's a half-hour drive away
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks to all in need. Hope everyone has a good day xxx

Front garden weeded. Broke some nails even though wearing gloves so have tidied those too before they drive me mad. They'll probably get wrecked some more before the day is done.Spend less now, work less later.9

Two loads of washing on the line, I have also swept the front path and completely deep cleaned the downstairs toilet. Left The Pink Stuff on the floor for half an hour, then scrubbed it off, it's like new. Most impressed with self.I think I have peaked too soon though...9

Round 2 completed + first WM load draped on radiator (socks) or pegged to airer and stood outside, 2nd load washed and pegged out on line, 3rd load swishing; refilled the birdbath, phoned a friend, reloaded the bowl with pots.
I'm ready for lunch, or in DS's case brunch - but I haven't heard him stir yet. Maybe the smell of fishfingers cooking will waft up and wake him up

Round, I love the idea of crinolenes, I have decided if we go back to having our kids groups my first activity with them will be making hats that are 2 metres in diametre to help them understand how far apart they have to be. I think we have some long balloons in the cupboard (the type used for making dogs, swords etc;)
Big excitement here is I have a hair appointment booked for 14th May, subject to hairdressers in this area being allowed to open. My hairdresser is also a friend of mine and another friend of mine decided we were going to go together for a girls day out! cost has gone up as they need to use disposable cloak and disposable towel, but I was due a cut the week before lockdown which got cancelled for other reasons and then 8 weeks of lockdown mine is a big thick funny coloured mess! Masks are compulsory to go to hairdressers too.
Limited flying here as 1st of May was a public holiday so a long weekend so trying to make it feel a bit different. Wine at lunchtime is a big holiday treat. I have just done the ironing and OH is cutting the grass. I also polished the silver teapot I found in the cupboard and dated it by the hallmark, 1931. Let's just hope it allows us to have a decent cup of tea with the loose tea I've found.
Have a good weekend. xxx
