D3xt3r5L4b  how about we all give you our longest finger and moove on!!!

sheramber  please read my first post 'ay-gain. I accessed my online account and saw an offer that interested me-I phone the phone support because the branch hours have been cut, yes it was then after 2pm. It is then my fault that the queue is 'over an hour' I try again over an hour later, to be told the same thing.  The branch on a later day tell me I did some thing wrong by haveing better things to do that wait. Most **NORMAL*** people have better things to do!!! As I understand it at leat 2 hours on hold is a lot in the context of a mobile phone minute bundle. The bank's phone support can't be short handed when they chose to reduce branch hours causeing the problem. If staff are finishing three hours early then they have time to help phone support, and if need be help train the 2 million unemployed as well

I have read post 1 again (and again) there is no mention of you seeing an offer that interested you?
What was the offer and what did you want to speak to someone about?

The local bank staff and call centre staff are different folk- the latter must be getting a lot of flack currently due to the queues.
If the money is urgent then I would phone again, hard to gauge when it is quiet- maybe early morning?
If I have had a real gripe with the call centre (& it has happened the odd time) then I politely ask to spreak to the manager, and if that doesn't work, then lodge a complaint.

In all this it pays to stay polite and calm, and if possible friendly as someone is far more inclined to help if they feel they are being appreciated.

and yes, in answer to your question I do have an account at Lloyds!

Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

    Only left in pertinent information

How easy would it be to give Lloyds my longest finger and simply move the account and funds?

In reality normally very easy, however with your apparent inability to communicate without being aggressive and rude nigh on impossible I would guess.
