No it is not April First
Recently Lloyds took it upon them selves to lock me out of my internet banking because I refused to wait the advised hour plus to speak to the phone support.
I phoned once to be told wait at least an hour, fair enough, I try again a bit more than an hour later no luck. So {Text removed by Forum Team}
The branch staff very kindly got me a phone call on that occasion very quickly.
I explained the above to the person on the phone.
Skype with no number that I have used for at least two years has not been a problem before, so is not an excuse now.
The person at Lloyds phone support did not challenge what I told them, so I believed that they accepted what I told them so I believed my account would be unlocked.
Sadly no such thing happened.

This is where I would like to share real experience.
In some one's experience in a like situation did a cash point machine take their debit card?
in some one's experience, when funds allowed were direct debits honoured?
How easy would it be to give Lloyds my longest finger and simply move the account and funds?
Thanks

Sorry, I have no idea what you are talking about and so can't help. Your post is rather confusing.james_smitha said:No it is not April FirstRecently Lloyds took it upon them selves to lock me out of my internet banking because I refused to wait the advised hour plus to speak to the phone support.I phoned once to be told wait at least an hour, fair enough, I try again a bit more than an hour later no luck. It may not be April First (?) but I'm afraid your post doesn't make sense to me.
What triggered your need to speak to Lloyds phone support in the first place?0 -
Lloyds will not be bothered in the slightest if you take your custom elsewhere.3

Oh dear.One of “these” again...1

Totally uncalled for.....and reported.Willing2Learn said:Open a second current account with a different banking group. If your Lloyds account has been 'frozen' pending investigations then you may have trouble doing that. If that is a problem then I recommend you open account with the likes of Monzo as they do not credit check you unless you require an overdraft.
That is not very nice of youjames_smitha said:I will not be bothered in the slightest if you f.o.
I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.2 -
***Willing2Learn*** there is nothing to investigate, they twice told me that the phone queue is at least an hour, so I said here is my longest finger. That last bit about not needing an over draft looks good, but an institution that Is a bit better known would help. But I still have to get **MY** money back, about £400 if you wish to ask

Op I am a lloyds customer AND?
Oh you are reported as well

So you abused their call centre staff and are annoyed they froze your account?5

What £400? Why are you getting stressed over £400? Why are giving your bank (and anyone who wants to listen) the proverbial finger? You locked yourself out of your banking and did not set up alternative methodology to remove any block on the account. You sound impatient.james_smitha said:***Willing2Learn*** there is nothing to investigate, they twice told me that the phone queue is at least an hour, so I said here is my longest finger. That seems like the 'long and short' of it all.penners324 said:So you abused their call centre staff and are annoyed they froze your account?
I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.

Any idea what the Op is ranting and angry about ? Seems rather unstable to me. Silly season here on POF is going from the mad to the ridiculous.1
