thanks neverending and thanks lonely gambler i started this journey  2010 and its worked out suprisingly  at age 55 with the usual peaks and troughs I had a 8 month fight with nhs pensions to get full amount because i was going early  and had to prove scs and transfer pension from england to scotland  and getting it backdated to Oct  i now have the freedom  but struggling with the decluttering as i can see ££ in every item i want to donate once a debt free wanabee always a debtfree wanabee me thinks good luck with both your journeys x

So finally debt free and it feels amazing however continuing here to stay debt free.Next declutter house and body and finally swim under that waterfall x

well stressful few days dd sick but now improving and hubby's work causing grief i'm encouraging him to find a less stressful job and plan finishing the house and some holidays .
last day of work tomorrow then can get back to the decluttering cant wait .hubby tied a lot when i went to check on dd so that's a big bonus and i made sure bins were full to the top time to empty the rest of the kitchen thats in the storage outside in a plastic container hopefully skip most of it or donate x
hope ev1 is having  a better start to the week than me

Jeez my black bag total is terrible as is the walks and weight . i'm off out today and tomorrow so will skip april and start myself a may challenge shows how family stress can make things go tits up so easily . dd better  and resits organised dh no complaint to answer all.
i've booked the holiday so have 6/52 for the declutter the body challenge
jobs : need to do a shein return ,post 3 paintings ,decide on isa, start the saving pot ,finally go through kitchen items and paint the hall

continue the walk a day dh and ds do this too but just makes me lazy and want to be fitter for the holiday.
new thing create a secret garden we have an area that swamps so planning to fill it with plants that like it and make it pretty .

Well got three black bags out of the bedroom yesterday then hubby suggested going to the beach now i love the beach but with the excess weight and the general fitness not being good i looked down to that beach from the cliff top and thought no way will i get back up thought id be clever on the way back up and get the gdog to pull me instead i had to run up the last 20 yards with her at the steepest part .bit wheezy at top but no i didnt die ,so hills it is then in this challenge to get fit . off to a different beach today but will have fish and chips not so good for the weightloss . money wise still good but jeez car insurance up a hundred and couldnt get a better pricematch .
right off out enjoy the sun x

Looks like you are doing well with the decluttering.  Are you fully retired now or working and drawing on your pension? Presumably that lump sum has got to last until you get your state pension or are all your outgoings covered by your NHS pension?
