Quick question regarding GDPR request to erasure.
I know they have to respond within 30 days with a response to the request but is there a time limit that the personal data has to be removed from their record?? They say it will be within 180 days and just wondered if this was correct thank you.0 -
I asked my favourite Auntie (Google) and she responded thusly: -The GDPR introduces a right for individuals to have personal data erased. The right to erasure is also known as 'the right to be forgotten'. Individuals can make a request for erasure verbally or in writing. You have one month to respond to a request. This is obviously written as being read by a company, so where it states you, replace with the company. For full info, read the article

I had read through the ICO but i was a tad confused as it says one month to comply and also one month to respond. Obviously there's a difference there.
It also states in 'Time limits' - If the request is complex the response time may be a maximum of 3 calendar months. I wouldnt have thought it a complex matter to delete the personal details of a pcn.

You report them to the ICO then once you have complained to the parking company.0

I certainly will.0
