They did the same to me on a 12 month contract, similar story to what I am reading here, £15 odd equiv and I pay £22 odd per month and get £75 bill credit... We paid £22 per month and got some sort of £8 discount per month but still paid £22 a month and got no additional bill credit and no explanation from either MSE or shell, the only thing I could find was something to do with VAT - I contacted MSE to no avail, I am looking at the Vodafone offer now and I am reluctant to trust.

"Go via this Broadband Genie Vodafone* link and you'll pay £19.50/mth, but you'll be able to claim a £105 Amazon voucher. If you'd have spent that anyway, factor it in and the cost is equivalent to £15.13/mth over the 24-month contract. See how to claim.

    Ends 11.59pm Sun 12 Dec."

Staying well away from Shell dodgy discounts

    FWIW:
    • I joined Shell via MSE last year, paid £23.99/month and got my £75 bill credit after three months as advertised.
    • This year I switched to Vodafone via MSE, am paying £19.50/month and have received my £100 shopping voucher (I chose Amazon).
