I bought the Arizona, ive not spoken to the company yet as Ive never been in situation like this

The website you used seems to have only Arizona in leather and EVA (plastic).

Not birko-flor.

On Birkenstock's own website they seem to do Arizona in what they term 'skin friendly microfiber' as well as leather, Birko-flor and EVA.

All descriptions seem pretty clear what material the uppers are.

So...does the website you used say 'leather upper' but they are Birko-flor?

Specifically - exactly which sandal did you order?

Almost all of the sandals they describe as leather are actually birko...

If what you've received doesn't have Waxed leather upper then the product you've received does not conform to contract as it does not match its description.

The reason for the non-conformance is irrelevant ... the simple fact is that there is a non-conformance.

I would assume c0ck-up rather than conspiracy i.e. I doubt it's deliberately "false" advertising, just an error. If not as described then you're entitled to return it.

I Imagine its just a mistake as all there descriptions of birkenstock leather sandals are birko (apart from 2)!
 I'll contact woodhouse now to see what they have to say.  Thanks all, its the 1st time ive used this site.

I've looked at the website - again - and there are 11 choices of Arizona.

The first 6 of those do not mention Birko at all in the description as far as I can see, I've not bothered looking at the rest.
