False Advertising online Shopping

Hi All, I recently purchased some well known branded sandles online from a reputable designer shop online. I had searched widely for the sandles which I specifically wanted in Leather. I found them, purchased them and when they arrived I found that they had sent me the plastic Birko version. looking further into the item descriptions of virtually all of there sandles of this make they are advertising them as Leather and not Birko, plastic. Where do I stand and what should be my next actions to prevent other people purchasing what they think are leather sandles but receiving plastic?

Is the website really the "reputable designer shop" you think it is, and if so which country are they based in?
You can't prevent other people purchasing them, you only have rights in relation to your own purchase.3 -
Maybe sandles are different from sandals?0

But you don't say which website you used. Just because they are using the brand's name doesn't mean it's an actual, official website for that brand. Tell us the website you used and we'll be able to advise further.Larksjunior said:Hi David, yes it is a well know designer shop on the high street and online.3 -

That doesn't help ... which exact website did you use? (Remove any http and www bits when replying - the forum should accept it as text. If not you could put a space between a dot and the next word).
woodhouse.shop resolves as a Russian website so I presume you don't mean that.

I've had a quick look at the website you used and most of the descriptions seems to say whether they are birko-flor (synthetic) or leather. What model did you buy?Have you spoken to the company yet?1
