So for me EE is the winner.
thank you to everyone who offered help and advice, it was very much appreciated.
where have you seen this 50gb limit stated please as i travel a lot to Spain (not atm obviously!) and could do with a higher data allowance in the future.
many thanks.
If you've been roaming since January, the text you get on arrival should say up to to 50GB.If you’re on pay monthly, pay as you go or a Flex plan, using your phone in an EU country will cost the same as it does at home.
If you have a domestic data allowance greater than 50GB, the fair usage policy (given in your roaming plan) means you can use up to 50GB while roaming in the EU.

leafy211 said:Thanks John - I was looking at 3 but it caps at 20GB in EU, I believe. Which is indeed quite a lot, but sometimes I can be in Europe for a month or two and have no internet service (nor any TV), so was hoping to find a better option.1

Couldnt spot anything about having to connect to a UK network every x days .. but if anyone has spotted that, would be great to know. Thanks again!0

From EE:
Please note: You must comply with the EE fair use policy which includes you being a permanent resident in, or having a stable link to, the UK. We will consider you to have a stable link to the UK if, during any four month period, you:
- spend a total of two months or more within the UK; or
- mainly use your inclusive voice, text or data usage allowances in the UK, rather than while you are roaming

so just to check Chistery .. I hardly use any of my inclusive in UK as I generally have access to data through home, or other buildings. Other times i might be in Turkey or USA etc, where i wouldnt be using my UK data/minutes etc .. But couldnt guarantee to be in UK for 2 consecutive months, even though I only have a home in UK (but free to travel as much as I can afford or wish). how does that leave me?0

Both EE and VOXI have confirmed the 2 month roaming limit0
