I lost 2.75 pounds, it’s annoying you can’t mark that on the app, it’s just half pounds but never mind, that’s ten pounds in two weeks so I’m happy with that. I had a ciabatta takeaway on Saturday it was delish and it came with salad, then on the Saturday night I just had pork steak veg and potatoes, so all in all not a bad weekend. I’m eating out to help out tonight but I’m sure I will make some good food choices.  Lunch today is chicken and bacon salad with lots of speed and low on carbs.

    Sundays menu

    B -
    L –

Brunch – Crunchy Nut and Skimmed milk
D – roast gammon, egg, courgette, peppers, mushrooms, onions
Syns – space raiders and 3 squares of fruit and nut

Well done klew and ruby. Those are really good losses. 😁

You must have bought loads of Smarties beanie unless you've been rationing them! 🤣

I know it's more expensive than multipacks but I think it's safer to have a treat when I'm out  rather than keep something at home to tempt me.  I only keep cottage cheese, grated cheddar in the freezer and a wedge of Parmesan. I know if I bought a variety of cheeses I'd eat them! I do enjoy a cheeseboard when I'm out though. I wasn't hungry enough last week but I'd prefer that to a pudding. Enjoy your meals out denise and klew.  When we go out on Wednesday we know that a 2 course lunch is planned (sadly main and pudding when I prefer starters!!) and there will be some choice but that's all I know.

We're having a YS chicken, leek and cheese meal from Tesco tonight. It say's 2.5 syns on the website but I think it'll be lower if I offset the cheese as a HEA2. There's not much cheese!

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), fried eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- ham (P), fried potato (F), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- Tesco chicken meal (P,S), SW chips (F), carrots, tenderstem broccoli, mushrooms (S)
    Syns- meal 2.5

Well done klew on the loss.  I know what you mean about only half pounds on the website but it is what it is and we have to work with that but those little bits more than half eventually add to go give you another half at another WI!

There's an online menu for the pub/restaurant where we're going so I'll decide Wednesday morning what I'm going to have - will probably have a starter and main and possibly share a cheese board if I want to make it a 3 course meal but probably not at lunchtime - particularly as DH will expect a proper dinner in the evening!

maman I'd definitely offset the cheese in that meal against your 2nd HEA, why syn something when you don't need to.

    Morning all,
    Great losses Ruby and Klew.
NIce to see you Beanie, and enjoy the Smarties, perhaps a few at a time if you can resist them.  I'm pretty good if I put things out of sight, I don't tend to think about eating them.  OH on the other hand does remember, and he even remembers mine too, so when I do finally decide to have a treat the beggar has already eaten them!  Having said that, we had a bit of a tiff a couple of weeks back and I sulked upstairs watching TV, but I missed dinner, then remembered I had a hidden Walnut Whip he knew nothing about.  Ooh it felt naughty but good! (even if it was about 2 yrs out of date  )

Well the weekend was hit and miss food wise, so going to gloss over that.  We sold OH's car, which had developed an intermitten fault that we didn't want the vast expense of eventually fixing.  He now needs a practical vehicle, but we were spoilt with what we had, and it's not a good time to be finding the ££ right now.  So we went out car hunting, and came back even more confused!  Everything seems so pricey, and not in great condition.  I'm liable to be a bit more practical and buy with my head, but he says he has to also buy with his heart, so it will be up to him to find the £ ultimately.  I'm just a bit concerned due to the cloud hanging over my job atm.

Food today is very planned, so I am very much in control:
B - bacon medallions, eggs, tomato, mushrooms, 1 slice of wm nevilles loaf (does that make it speed? not HEB?) baked beans
L - lettuce, cucumber, tomato, chopped bacon medallion, grated cheddar HEA1, dressing (1)
SF jelly (1), mango & cataloupe, cream (2)
D - HM chicken & tomato pasta bake, with mushrooms, onions, spinach & garlic
    HEA2  -  milk in tea/coffees

Have a good day everyone.  The sun is shining here, so I hope you get some too

One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

Sorry ruby for some reason I missed your post - think you probably posted while I was reading Beanie's post!  well that's my excuse anyway, LOL!

Can your OH not find a car for the same amount he sold his car for sary if money is a bit tight particularly with a bit of a cloud over your job?  Unfortunately I don't think the Speed thing applies with bread at least I haven't seen anything saying that, 1 slice of the Nevilles is showing at 3.5 syns so if you've only had the one slice you can either call it half HEB or syn it; perhaps have a couple of Ryvitas or an Alpen Light later to make it up to the full HEB but it's not absolutely necessary.
