The WiFi connection on a smart TV is done from the TVs settings , not via the app.
Have you set up the WiFi in the TV settings ?
Do other WiFi apps work ?Ex forum ambassador

JVBP said:I cannot initialise anything as I don't have a WIFI code. Tried the HDMI stuff to no avail. It needs to have an aerial connected via the co-axial RF connector socket on the back of the TV. If you have "no signal" this suggests you are not currently connected to an aerial. Have you actually attempted to tune the TV?Ignore the onscreen prompt from the Netgem App, that's an entirely optional extra which will require a paid subscription to activate.0

Hi,OP said he had bought a Cello tv, he has no internet so is connected to aerial though gets a 'no signal' message.I've no idea what model he has but this instruction manual might help.1

In my defence the op has never been particularly clear about stuff , first post called it "a netgem tv "
It was only after a few posts we found out that it's an app on a cello TV .
Now they are talking about a WiFi code in the app when that's set in the TV .
Methinks they need to sit down with the user manual and check where bits are .
Or perhaps delete the app and then download again to the TV ( assuming it's actually connected to WiFi );Ex forum ambassador

Browntoa said:Or perhaps delete the app and then download again to the TV ( assuming it's actually connected to WiFi );Apart from the "Netgem TV" gaff the OP made, I think this was clear both from the first post and the thread title. The OP needs to ignore any of the SMART functions and skip straight to tuning the integral Freeview tuner in the TV.All of which assumes his aerial is connected via the RF connector socket and that his aerial is in working condition.I'm losing the will to live with this thread....2

The TV came back on and appeared to connect back to the WIFI, but when I tried YouTube - no connection.
