I have had a satsuma loan previously and ive applied again a few times.
1 - They will have a record of my details stored somewhere so i would not need to do another application
2 - If my details are incorrect they simply would not be able to match them to database in their credit search. So how do they know who to put the CIFAS marker on? Will they randomly guess the closest match to the persons detail
3 - If they magically guessed this person, why would they assume its the actual person and not some random person trying to commit fraud. You think they will just assume its me and put a CIFAS marker on me without doing any investigation
You need compelling evidence for a CIFAS marker to be put on, and 9/10 its banks that do it. Give me a scenario in which satsuma loan has put on a CIFAS marker on the OP's file with the information he has given to us on this thread. I dont see it. Hence why i believe he is not telling us the full picture
I am asserting that in this case. With Satsuma Loans they do an online check. If your details are matched then you will be rejected. As pure as simple as that. They will not find your credit file and reject your application, nothing more happens. Therefore, the fact they did this whole CIFAS marker does not make sense as they would not know who to put this marker on against because there was no person to put it on against.0 -

CIFAS and National Hunter two different things. Also depends on the context. You cant get a CIFAS for a new application for entering mistaken information. They wont know who you are
Why would you possibly think that they couldn’t?0 -
The same email address wouldn’t work because it kept saying it’s been used already but when I logged into that account, like I mentioned before, no loan application ability0

1 - Details are incorrect so how would they know who the loan was too? They wouldnt as no details were matched
2 - If they magically found this formula and guessed the right application then how would they know it was him doing it and not some fraudster. They would just guess and think lets roll the dice and stick a CIFAS on him?0 -

Explain how you are up to scratch with the inner workings of Satsuma’s internal systems and processes?

This is ridiculous. Stop trying to pick apart the OPs version of events and listen to the facts presented. Eskbanker is correct.I know this because I too had a marker placed due to a genuine mistake in my dob. This company are absolutely vile. They trash peoples lives by placing markers and deeming innocent people fraudsters.I’m not going into huge detail because of privacy but they are placing markers on people without sufficient evidence or cause.1
