You must carefully follow what has been said above, no exceptions.

As this is BWLegal, whilst all this is going on, nothing to stop you sending them a letter referring to the case.
As you know, BWLegal are scamming you for a fake amount of £60

It is possible that a judge will not understand the scam so to make it simple for the judge, there is a letter you can send to BWLegal here
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6129744/bwlegal-the-scam/p1?new=1

You send this letter to BWLegal.   Whether they reply or not does not matter because when the judge invites you to talk, you can show that you sent this letter to BWL and that brings ABUSE OF PROCESS to his attention.
Make sure you email it to BWL with a BCC to yourself to prove the email was sent.

The rep that BWL send may say this is hi-jacking ...... of course it's not, as you can prove you sent the email to BWL who failed to tell the rep.
What this means is that you tried to resolve the issue but BWLegal ignored you.

No, it does not mean that.

It simply means that the named Defendant has not Acknowledged Service of the Claim.

The named Defendant has until 4pm tomorrow, 20th April, to either file an Acknowledgment of Service or file a Defence.

No - you just can't 'put your name down' and become the Defendant!  The Defendant is named on the court claim, you can't simply alter that.

Tell us you haven't submitted the AOS. This could become a real dog's dinner through doing your own thing against all advice.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

No, it does not mean that.

It simply means that the named Defendant has not Acknowledged Service of the Claim.

    so where it says this:

    Acknowledgment of Service

    Claim number
    Claimant
    UK Parking Patrol Office

    Limited
    Defendant
    Mrs xx xxxx (mothers name)

Defendant's full name if different from the name given on the claim form

    Mr xxxxxx  (my name)

and then ive signed off at the bottom with my details saying

    Intention

I intend to defend all of this claim

    Signed

    I am a litigation friend
    xxxx (my name)

See the post linked from my reply on 14 April at 9:26PM for how to file an AoS.

The named Defendant has until 4pm tomorrow, 20th April, to either file an Acknowledgment of Service or file a Defence.

Now totally confused. I think you just do what you think fit and let us know whether it results in a mess.

As mentioned above , your haste and ignorance of the procedures has meant all you have done is make it worse

The lady , your mother , is the defendant and you have nothing to do with the case , you can't transfer it , be it this case or shoplifting , you are not and never can be the defendant , she is

I doubt that you have any legal qualifications to represent her , unlike b w legal

Apoligies I've made a mess, heres the key bits summed up.
    1. Defendent is listed as my mother who is registered keeper, however she is reffered to as MR (her name).
    2. I submitted the AOS under my name as i interpreted it asking if the defendants details were correct. (However i thought I wanted to take full control of this and so i would need to state my details)
    3. I am creating a defence now, and have used my mothers name and signature.
