If you have sky Q then you can often get a good deal signing up to their “ultimate on demand” package as that also gives you Netflix. I pay £5 a month for this which gives you all sky box sets and the full Netflix HD package. I previously paid £11.99 just for Netflix.

Cant you use iplayer and youtube instead of Britbox and save money.
What does Britbox have that the others dont.

Britbox has BBC, ITV and some Channel 4 and Channel 5 all ad free, mostly it is classic stuff, box sets and series. Currently working my way through the BBC Miss Marple's and the ITV series Endeavour. I'm not a Doctor Who fan so the fact it has all the series is of zero interest to me personally.

They do a 30 day trial, so it might be worth a look to see if you'd watch enough of it - we access ours through an Amazon Fire Stick. We also have Netflix and Prime.

Been looking at getting Netflix and looking at the plans. I have a couple of questions to ask of anyone who already subscribes could answer for me please.
Looking at the plans the 'Standard' at 8.99 says you can watch on 2 screens at the same time. May be a silly question but does that mean that if you have 2 tvs, one upstairs and one downstairs you can screen a single show on both of them at the same time, or, that you can watch 2 different shows at the same time (one on each tv) meaning kids could watch one while we watch another?
Secondly, is there enough content on Netflix to make it worth the extra cost in comparison to Sky which we already have?
    Thank you.
Yes, you can watch 2 different shows at the same time, Netflix allows you two screens which means you can have 2 different users accounts in the same main account. Kids can watch their favorite shows and you can enjoy you stuff. both screen will be different from each other and the related content will also be different. And yes there is plenty of content which is worth watching and paying.

  • Used once few years back. Appeared cluttered.  Now use YouTube or smart TV for channel apps

Netflix has been very useful during the current restrctions! My little one finds loads of kids series and my husband likes the documentaries. Only criticism I have is shows can be hard to find. Google the codes you can use to reveal more things than are shown on the normal search function.
I find the navigation poor too

Ive got Netflix and Amazon and never watch either of them- I tend to usually only watch BritBox which is brilliant. If it weren’t for the fact I’m considering rewatching Orange is the New Black when I’ve finished binge watching the Inbetweeners on BritBox I would cancel.
Ive got Netflix with sky & amazon with prime.
I rarely watch either & almost exclusively watch sky.  I think I’d watch Netflix more if the navigation was better - more like sky.
