I got the website to load on another PC in the end so it must be something to do with (the AV on?) this one.
I suppose that somewhere (?) in the FAQ's there is guidance on switching SIM's within O2 but really I want to duplicate the SIM for safety in case for any reason one of the phones doesn't work.
I believe that there's a way for telling whether your contacts are saved to the phone or SIM (or both?) but I wasn't paying enough attention when the mobile shop was doing this for me last time. And how to copy them over.
I was surprised that your son was able to get through at all since all my attempts have failed.  But they always ask for a brief reason for the call at the outset and perhaps cancelling a contract was deemed a greater priority than .......ing about with a SIM card so I was screened out. Must be a lesson in there somewhere.

    A quick google search:

    https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1281456/Doro-Phoneeasy-409s-Gsm.html?page=15#manual

Doro 409 manual with how to copy / storage of contacts.
From the next page it seems phone is default storage for contacts.
Instructions on how to copy from phone to sim on the linked page.

Rather than bumping your other thread, you can post pictures of sim on this forum.
