Wasn't going to respond but in a hell of a lot of pain as well as fed up so...
Of course people have bills to pay, no bills would be taken out of a bank account on a bank holiday though so why worry.
Of course people have food to buy, although with all this social distancing (shopping queues and online shopping) I would think leaving it till Good Friday to shop is somewhat extreme because even when the world is not in as much crisis as it is currently the shops, at Easter are ridiculously full, and obviously with at least three other adults in this household, one stated as working from home, not sure what other two adults position is i.e more than likely furloughed that led me to ask a perfectly reasonable question of why the money was deemed so necessary when in fact the WORLD IS IN CRISIS, and why keep bothering a very very busy DWP at the moment.
And please do not bring up other issues OP may have, albeit physical or mental, there is a CRISIS, We all have issues, ESA I am afraid is way down on the list with what is going on at the moment, most of DWP staff have been transferred over to help with UC, PIP is still being paid so money still going in peoples bank accounts.
But, if it gives some of you something to do on this lovely Easter Friday then please tear me to shreds, call me judgemental, call me uncaring if you like, more than the corona virus going on here my lovelies but would just like to say I believe I am neither judgemental but also I am not a drama queen.
You all have a blessed Easter
