Has anyone tried, successfully, to use this new limit? If so, could you please tell us which retailer(s) you used.

Haven't found reason to try latest limit, full petrol tank whilst working from home.
Going to be some time, maybe once Service is booked late May then that's a possible extra cost.

It has nothing to do with retailers, it's your card provider that sets the limit.

bris: The retailers have to make the necessary adjusts to their systems before the new limit is available. Hence, you can use it in some places not others. Hence, the thread.

I was told this afternoon - by the checkout lady in Sainsbury's - that Sainsbury's will be going from £30 to £45 on 1 May.

Farmfoods was okay up to £45 this morning, which is a bit surprising considering the likes of Tesco haven't done it yet.

Aye, Sainsbury's don't seem to have caught up with revised limit, just had to revert to chip & pin for £42 transaction.
