So today Shell have said that they still won't back down on the bill so I said I will go to the ombudsman. They replied saying as a gesture of goodwill they will credit my account with £50 to settle the issue. Now I need to decide if its worth fighting - it is on principle, and as I want to pay the correct amount, but what if I am in the wrong? I genuinely don't think I am but who knows?

In other news I have opened a Monza account, it gives me more pots for savings for different things. Ds is also going to open one too, it was super easy to do on my phone. We both get £5 if he uses my referral link too.

Also I phoned the hairdressers back, I'm not happy with my hair so am going back again on Thursday for another attempt. My hormones are definitely up the swanny as I would never have made a fuss before, I hate confrontation, but I don't like it so it needs sorting :)

It's definitely worth going to the Ombudsman.  I can't remember if I've mentioned before but I had to take Scottish Power and ended up with not paying for gas and electric for about a year and they also had to give me compensation for my trouble.

Good for you complaining to your hairdresser if you're not happy with your hair.  Hopefully they can sort it out when you go back on Thursday.

Another fan on Monza love the pots and free to spend and withdraw a limited amount abroad.

Glad you got a GP appointment hopefully something good will come of it. You’re always so cheerful on her so something sounds very off. Check if your work has any employee benefits might incl some counselling if that’s needed.

    Take care

JoeDenise - my hair was done on Wednesday, very blonde, and even though it was more blonde than I'd intended I actually liked it, it made me feel less invisible and happier. Then he phoned me and asked me to pop back in for a toner as he felt it was "too yellow". I did that and he said it would just tone down the blonde a bit, however it basically stripped all the blonde out and left it looking ashy grey / mousey brown, which was not what I was after. I've been going there for years and have never said I don't like it ever, in fact over the years I've left several hairdressers hating what they'd done but too shy to speak up. This time I decided to say something :)

The mad thing is Beanie that I liked it how he did it originally, then I trusted him when he said it just needed toning down a bit, I honestly thought it would still be similar but a bit softer? It's totally different now, literally back where I started from. I want blonde back. My Mum told me I'd look like mutton but I don't care :)

Forgot to mention yesterday I went to Home Bargains as I needed to stock up on cleaning stuff and Sainsburys is getting stupidly expensive there. ANyway, came back with a weighted hula hoop and a box of Matchmakers but no cleaning stuff at all, oops :)
