Hi JulieJim ... I normally go for an earliy morning walk, that tends to be for about an hour - 2 hours. (I walk about 6,500 steps an hour). Then I will pootle around, food shopping / housework etc which adds on a few more thousand over the course of the day, then a couple of walks with the dog during the day and that normally gets me to my 20,000 steps.
If I go for one of my long morning walks then that takes me about 2.5 hours and gets in about 16,000 steps, then I don't need to worry for the rest of the day as I will reach 20,000 over the course of the day.
On average I do about 1,000 steps in 10 minutes, so I do try to make myself get up and move about if I've been sat too long. I also always walk around if I'm on the phone as I am so busy chatting that I don't notice it :)

Morning, another walk in the sun done this morning, took me over 750,000 steps towards my 1.7 million target :)
Last night I went paddle-boarding with friends down the beach, was great fun and didn't get too wet :)
Today I have a general uneasy feeling, think it's just everything going on with ds getting to me. I need to keep myself occupied to take my mind off it all. I might tackle the garage today - tomorrow I have the council coming to collect the old sofa (£36!), that will clear a chunk of space in there and I want to do a car boot sale the weekend after next (weather permitting) to finally clear a load of old junk out too. Then I hope to properly organise what's left in there.

Janb5 ... Tinder  :o It's actually nowhere near as bad as people say, and I much prefer it to Plenty of Fish - far too many sleazy old guys on there.
