Well done on your ds for taking the initiative and reporting himself. Hopefully that will help him in Court.
Not an easy time for you at all.1 -

Oh Benben X .
I am really sorry about your boy. Do you think it was an over hang from being embarrassed about having you pick him up the other night? all very boundary pushing (well crashing over them with a steam roller but you get the idea) and that crappy growing up finding yourself and still needing mum whilst simultaneously resenting the crap out of her. I know it must be awful but he did the right thing in the end. He is a good kid as I know you know. X (sorry if that sounds patronising and naff. It isn't meant to.)
So impressed with the steps and the food.
much love XXXXNevertheless she persisted.2 -

Oh Benben, life isn't being very kind to you at the moment but I'm so proud that you have got the willpower to carry on doing your walking & healthy living - that goes to show what you are made of xx.
As for DS, we all do things we shouldn't but to own up in the way he did is a credit to the way you've brought him up & hopefully all will go well in court - perhaps some points on his licence & a fine or community service. It's a shame he left his job, I got the impression he really enjoyed it.
As for the footie that goal line technology incident at Villa is diabolical & the resulting relegation has cost your team a very promising young manager, I just wish there was something that could be done about it.1 -
Your poor boy, and you. All credit for him turning himself in, it sounds like he shocked himself. And a flight mechanism for him, and now he is older, can be a little more serious. And although it just have been incredibly hard, you reporting him was also the right thing. I must admit I have concerns about my younger twos issues and how the challenges will manifest as they become teens, but anything that endangers anyone elses lives is non negotiable with regard to the official consequences.
It sounds like a bit of a rubbish time all round and you have done brilliantly with the steps and weight loss. I have plateaued this week, need to get back into recording everything to kick start the next stone I think.
Celebrate the successes and move forward.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉2 -
Hi how are you doing...hope all is ok.1

Hi, sorry for not posting for a while - we went to stay with my brother for a few days which was lovely. Ds has been great, I've got a few calls to make today - a social worker popped round while we were away to see ds so I need to call them back.
This morning I went for a lovely walk down the beach and a swim before it got too hot and before the crowds descended. The rest of today will be spent pootling about indoors, I'm not a great one for the heat.Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
