  • Fingers crossed your boots sell.  I’ve not tried Vinted yet. Must have a look at some point.

Is it easy to sell on? I gave up with eBay for clothes but need to have a clear out

It's sooo much easier than ebay - much quicker to list and you don't have to keep re-listing either. The problem with it is it is so easy to while away a few hours mooching through the stuff for sale, its overtaking Rightmove in my go to when I'm bored :)

So Abs has messaged again, apologising profusely ... says he was incredibly hungover the next day and never should have sent me the messages, is very happy in his relationship etc and feeling 100% guilty for his behaviour. Shame but glad he'e been honest, and from the messages it seems to me that deep down he's not quite as happy as he claims to be, but that's his business not mine. So as you were, back to just the odd friendly message and nothing more with him.

Other than that ds is off to Scotland for a few days this week with a mate so I've got the place to myself, hopefully the original hottie will be popping over one night, I might meet up with my other local mate too this week :)

Today I've been to Sainsburys and done the food shopping before it gets too busy out there. Fridge has been emptied and re-filled, bed has been stripped and the second load of washing is in. It is absolutely chucking it down here so no beach walk for me this morning. Last night I came home from work at 4, had good intentions of doing housework last night, but instead sat on my bed and fell asleep at 4:45 for two hours. When I woke up i just felt completely wiped out so got into bed properly and slept all night. Not quite sure what that was all about but I obviously needed it!

So today will be a catching up with housework day, with some surveys and matched betting thrown in, and lots of football too :)

Thanks Four Seasons, yep all good here ... it was nice having the place to myself for a few days, the original hottie was due to come over on Friday evening but put his back out at work so couldn't come. It did mean I'd done all the housework ready in case he came over, so the place is nice and sparkly :)

This weekend I've pottered and done a few little jobs - I've finally sorted the smoke alarm (wouldn't stop beeping), I've been and bought lightbulbs for that various lamps that had the odd bulb out, so all working again. I've done loads of washing while the weather has been amazing and got it all dried outside, I've seen Mum and cleaned out her fridge for her, binning stupid amounts of out of date food in the process, I went to a mates 40th party last night, I've been very happy with the football score yesterday :) and I also managed to get ds and I tickets to see Peter Kay. It's not until May 2024  :o , ds will get his ticket for Christmas, but I'm looking forward to it already. Oh, and I just won £110 on a slot game. I have probably frittered about £50 on it over the last few weeks so it has re-cooped that and a bit extra for me too.

This afternoon I'm chilling on the sofa, I need to do a Tesco order and get some bits ready to go back to work tomorrow, but that's about it. So all in all, a pretty decent weekend!

Morning, a weekend with no Premier League football :( I have made a coffee, put the first load of washing on and got back into bed with the laptop. I'm going to do some banking stuff, then I need to do some food shopping and collect a couple of parcels this morning. Maybe a walk later, pop in and see Mum, other than that I don't really have much planned this weekend. Let's see what it brings :)

I'm missing the Premier League too - trying to get enthused about the world cup but not feeling it yet.  Hopefully when it gets going I'll enjoy it.  I was just browsing all the teams'  kits - that was quite entertaining, there are some real shockers.
will your school show the England games?

I'm exactly the same Blackcats, no enthusiasm for it whatsoever ... our school aren't showing any games but I have two screens in my office so will be able to keep an eye on tomorrows game. I'm expecting attendance to be poor tomorrow ;)

Last night I went to see my mate in Bournemouth, had a lovely night but on Friday I carried some heavy boxes and yesterday my back was twinging, anyway, today its worse and I can barely turn my head and I'm wincing like an old biddy. I'm not quite sure how I managed to drive home from his, I was almost crying when changing gears as its so damn painful, now sat with a big mug of tea and a hot water bottle on my back.
