Hi all
im in for the week although I didn’t post yesterday! Round one, dailies and laundry done yesterday and today. I have decided that the kitchen is going to be my target this weekend for a really deep clean. The sun shining through the newly cleaned windows has shown me areas that really need some tackling!!My first laundry load dried this morning so I’ve just done more towels and put them out, it’s lovely out there, wish I could sit in the conservatory with my book but it’s off back to work I go....
sending lots of GWS vibes, hugs, sticks, spoons to all who are struggling in various ways. Hang on in there xxxx10 -
Hi everyone! Update: I've cleaned the kitchen down and wiped the hob clean again. Dishwasher stacked ready to set off when the washing machine is done. Then hang it out. Lovely and sunny up here in Leeds today.
We are going to walk up to the local Asda later for some food. I say local..its a mile and half there and back so the 3 mile walk constitutes our exercise for today 🤣 This is exciting as it means I can get dressed in real clothes instead of pyjamas, care whether I brush my hair or not and maybe put some makeup on. 🤣* £1000 Emergency Fund £65.00 / £1000

Yorkshirelass -that's great news for you son and hopefully mine will be so lucky. His university are doing it on a case by case bybasis so fingers crossed! I hope your son stays home...so far mine has been skyping his girlfriend every night but you can tell they're getting twitchy.
So, master bedroom today. It still needs some major decluttering so will start that after lunch
Take care everyone xx

(Hugs) YL. I’m with Kazw - what is the mother thinking? You are right, and his brother has to come first. It won’t be forever, and the technology is there to at least help a bit.
I’m rewarding myself with a sit down lunch rather than a flying lunch. This morning I have:
- been to the village shop for some bread, milk and other odd bits. I had a mooch (it is tiny!) as I was keeping a safe distance from the other customer to see what else might be useful in future days.
- cleaned the oven
- even more impressive, cleaned the kitchen floor
- trumping that by cleaning the large venetian blind and the window in the kitchen. 2 smaller ones to go, but that is for another day.
- dusted and vacced the kitchen, landing and bedroom.
- got 2 loads of washing on the line.
DD is convinced that a shop is necessary and that we cannot live off our store cupboard. She has a shock coming for a little while longer, methinks. However, I do need to get to a chemist. The queues outside B00ts in the big town were for 2 hours apparently, so if I am going to have to go, I am going to try the small local pharmacy. Not looking forward to that challenge later.10 -
full level 3 on the bathroom - I have also washed the loo brush holder and brush and they're outside drying in the sunshine. I now have a clean bathroom cabinet too.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Round 2 completed!
I have looked back on the forum and found my original Toots list, posted 1/5/2011!! I found my first ever post - lots of names that I remember, including the lovely Toots herselfIt was a little bittersweet, as I had posted about things that I now know were not true (about DH), but we have moved on now and have weathered the storm.
Round 3
empty DW & reload
WULTD
replace cushion covers
an hour in the garden - weeding, tidying, etc.
I also need to walk the dog at some point.

Going to have to make sure I re-read my posts before posting...the last one was a bit all over the place!
Skyped my mum - at 85 I'm proud of how well she's adapted to all the new technology we've introduced her too. I think I'm more anti-tech than she is.
About to fling, find a home for or charity shop 100 items. If this goes well, and it should as we have way too much clutter, then I may do another 100. Dog walk soon too...I like to leave it till later in the day so I have something to look forward to...little things eh!10 -
ugh ugh ugh - car insurance
Current provider are wanting to charge 49% more than last year's premium *shocked*

Hi all
Thanks for wise words. DS2 has only been with his GF for a few months, and I know nothing about her mother but I am furious with her. DS1 has been with his GF for 3 years and she has been by his side while he has been treated for cancer, but they havent seen each other for about a month now, and aren't complaining. Anyway, DS2 hasnt surfaced out of his room yet today.
Been out to post hubbys monthly invoices, seems like half the village were taking their daily exercise at the same time! Had to walk down the middle of the road at one point!! Off to run hoover and mop round, might ring Mum and see if she is OK.12 -
DS2’ bed changed laundered and remade
dust sheet removed from ds1’s bed ( protects from cat hair) washed
big mistake as there is cat hair everywhere
online fat club attended. Must do better
Acted as scribe for DS2 school work as he broke the laptop. He managed half a question before getting bored.
