Also surely they must now prove I'm the registered keeper (which I am not and have never been)?
In any event, the DVLA told our Client that you were the registered keeper.

    Is this wrong then?

Yes this is totally wrong. I am not the RK and have never been.
This email they've sent has not been sent to the court. Is it therefore totally outside of the case?

I don't think that falls to me to do does it?
If I did get the DVLA to confirm or could provide evidence say with a copy of the logbook for the car how could I submit that to the court? I have already submitted my witness statement.

Well if you don't do it, who else do you think is going to prove you weren't and never have been the RK?

You just stating it is obviously going to be challenged with "have you any evidence of that?"

I understand but I haven't submitted that in my witness statement.
Presumably it's too late now then?

    Just do it.

Why are you so reluctant to even try and help yourself?

Find out if it is too late or not when you present your evidence in court - having emailed the court and claimant the evidence beforehand.
