I’m in the same position, I don’t have a passport so can’t renew online, you can’t call them, email them or use web chat and they are not accepting postal applications for now.
How are we supposed to renew are license?0 -
If it's just your photocard, stop stressing. Your entitlement to drive is still valid.
If it's your actual licence that's expiring, either because you're 70 or over, or because it's short-term because of medical conditions, then so long as you can tick all the boxes at the bottom of this page...

The actual expiry date is shown in column 11 on the back of your licence.Failure to renew the photocard is a separate (minor) offence, but it's unlikely a prosecution would succeed in the current circumstances.

All that 11 tells us is when the type of vehicle we can drive remains valid. The driving license date at 4 is the date it expires. I know because I just (two minutes ago) tried to renew online and cannot renew and so my license is now expired.I emailed DVLA twice before it expired and they did nothing. The post office that deals with driving licenses has closed in the city (yes city)!I have emailed my MP and ask all others to do the same. Its a shi*-show and not on at all to leave people like this with no license and hence an insurance issue if anything happens.Remember when you judge someone, it does not define them ... You define yourself :j0
