Driving License Renewal

Hi, can I just ask if the DVLA will still be issuing new Photo Type licenses during the present difficult times. I need to renew both my husband's and my own. They both expire 21st this month, and require new photos (which we have taken recently) and new address details.
I have requested and received the DA1 forms, and if anyone could also advise which sections on these forms I need to fill in....brain fog......TIA

Sorry, I don’t know about postal renewals, but I renewed mine a couple of weeks ago, online (using passport number so no photo required) , on a Saturday,  and the new one arrived on the Wednesday after.

Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end

We did the same and the new ones arrived within a few days.
  • Current photos are ten years old so needed replacing and we don't have passports
  • So, does anyone know if I can send them back for renewal via the postal service during this current difficult time ??

Why on earth not? Royal Mail and DVLA are still functioning.
  • Website isn't allowing phone calls or live web chat or emails and says only  Hgv and NHs  ....I'm confused as to if this is just applications for them or for the wider population...please look and come back to advise me...

OK. The website says "Please use our online services, which are all currently available. Please do not send in any paper applications until further notice."
    That seems clear.
