That will be because so many people are at home using their phones so the capacity for connections is reduced.Deleted_User said:I've not had a 4 g signal since the outbreak started. Just 3g for some reason.0 -
And just cos it's what you are seeing at your immediate location doesn't make it any more true for everywhere. ;-)motorguy said:

We're telling you how it is and what people are seeing out there in the real world. Refuse to accept it all you like, but call centres in particular are very badly hit.Scrapit said:Still, not buying decimated.
Theres some people cant accept facts i guess - some still think the world is flat....
Just because you're chosing not to believe it doesnt make it not true.0 -
Its not our immediate location, no. My wifes call centre group is world wide and have 8 large sites across the UK. All the UK sites are seeing similar issues / rates of absence.Scrapit said:

Also Born_Again gave pretty much the same information about a banking Call Centre.
Common sense would tell you that call centres - usually with 1,000+ people working in close proximity are going to be experiencing massive issues with CV-19.
So if you want to deny all that, then fine. Doesnt make you right though.

Indeed. A lot of people will be working from home now and using their data allowance (or their work phone data allowance) to connect in to work.Mercdriver said:

Just remember as well many other counties that host call centers (India for one, which is in total lockdown). So any company with a call center or staff out there have lost them all for now, unless they already had home working set up.Scrapit said:

If you do not believe this, then try ring round a range of companies via the phone and see either how long you have to wait, or get the message it's not open.Life in the slow lane1 -
What about an E Class in black? Had an E220 for a hire car once and best car I've ever driven, just nearly £40k more than I really want to spend based on new OTR prices anywayKimJongUn88 said:

Just looking at them on Motorpoint. The vehicle tax rates are really crazy. Some are registered before March 2017 and cost £20 per year. Some are registered after April 2017 and with a list price of over £40K are £465 per year.0

Not much help in this thread just people looking down their noses saying I told you so, despite not knowing about anyone's individual situations.Hope you get sorted Barry anyway. I've emailed them again, it's all we can really do I guess!1

They are going to be losing a lot of money because people won't be able to pay and they will go bankrupt and have their cars re-possessed. I don't think they are going to tell everybody to forget their payments. Some people will have more money. I have the same amount of money but have nothing to spend it on. They will probably just continue to get payments from people that can afford it and people that can't pay won't pay. You've bought something that's value is dropping like a stone. It's value will probably drop even faster because of coronavirus. Someone has to pay for that massive depreciation.0
