I get as far as the 'Do you want to pay a flat rate deduction' page. My industry (IT/web design) isn't in the list of options, and when I enter it manually, I see a bit saying "Maximum claim for this industry: £60". I thought you could claim for a flat £6/week, ie more than £60?
I thought that would then be the end of the form but it goes on to ask me lots of specific questions about what I'm claiming relief for (company car, etc).
An I doing something wrong?0 -

The current one only covers until the end of this tax year.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -

Total expenses for the selected year and employment:£ 372
I'm not sure what to do? I don't want to get into trouble for trying to claim more but I haven't submitted any figure of £372 or even an extra £50 anywhere. I only inputted the £312.0 -

I'm really confused as to what I can claim back and how I should do it (sorry)
So my employer started to pay a working from home allowance in October last year of £18/month
As I understand it I claim for "using your home as an office" and declare that it has cost £312. so where it states amount paid by my employer I'm guessing I should put in £18 per month to the end of March 2021? so £108 would that be correct?0 -
My work had previously shared information on claiming back the working from home tax relief, which myself and some of my colleagues applied for. They have just told us that they will now pay the £6/week tax free working from home allowance which will be backdated to 1 April. However, they have said that if we have already applied for the tax relief we are not eligible for the allowance. Is this right and is there anything we can do?

You could always ask HMRC to put your tax code back to whatever it was before, which means you'll repay the tax relief received since 6th April 2020 in your next payslip.1 -

I have been furloughed since March 2020 due to being clinically extremely vulnerable but my employer stopped paying furlough in December when I was unable to return to work on the advice of my consultant. In January my employer informed me that they would only pay SSP. I have not submitted a sick note . Can they stop furlough and pay SSP when I am not unwell. The care home i is work in has only social distancing as protection for me.0
