But you know they will ignore it,
I know nothing of the sort. Why do so many people on here think that they can predict the future. Past behaviour does not indicate future behaviour.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
OP, re. McDonalds CEO - one poster did report that their email to CEO Paul Pomroy was referred to customer services. I found another email address for their Operations Manager on the CEO email site. I don't really know what an Operations Manager does, but he is surely worth a shot.

Also, I seem to recall some people have emailed McDonalds CEO in the US & been successful.4 -

Coupon-mad said:Unfortunately i've only got a few days left until the popla code expiresNo you haven't. I bet you have another week at least? POPLA codes last 33 days and did you miss that you can bung in a 'work in progress' POPLA appeal this month and add more later:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6126237/popla-update
But the complaint to McD's CEO must must must be done FIRST, tomorrow, before POPLA.
No more working on the POPLA appeal until you've done the complaint email...!
Leave in 'grace periods' and use my wording posted in the linked thread above, suitably adapted, but pleeease promise that you won't work on the POPLA appeal at all, until the email has been sent to McDonalds H/O!going to add every email address I find on here of MCD's starting with mitz post above. I'm thinking of leaving in the main gist of the grace periods relating to the old guidance and then adding an update to the bottom of this section with your snippet [customised]. yeah saw the appeal delay post, will have to use this option, I think the popla code was received around the 25/03.

Thanks, that's the email sent, any good:
Hello, good day to you.
We recently visited McDonalds for a family meal and due to technical issues with ordering at the restaurant and the busy period delaying our food being ready by around an hour, we have received a "notice to keeper" from your car park management company MET parking services for our vehicles overstaying.
The manager was very friendly and calm under pressure, helping us to get our large order in and giving us a £5 discount for the troubles. As it was busy the food then took nearly 20 minutes to arrive in full with a correction having to be made.
The matter has been explained, in full, to MET parking services with the attached copy of our main receipt showing the time we finally placed our order, nearly 40 minutes after we arrived. MET unreasonably ignored us [& logic] in their response and went on about some signs in the car park that we don't recall seeing;
In this case we could not help the time we were at the restaurant so really do not think it is fair we, the keepers of the vehicles - that have no dealings with MET, are being pursued and ignored by your contracted parking managers.
We feel the choice of MET Parking Services was a bad one. All of our group no longer feel confident visiting McDonalds sites where these companies are operating. Not to be funny, but I genuinely can visit my local KFC when they are busy without having to rush a meal through fear of extortion.
I would like to formally request help in getting this matter resolved as we thought we were customers of McDonalds only, whom were the sole reason we were at the restaurant for so long.
Kind Regards0
