Airport Parking is the only part of my trip not offering refund

We booked all parts of a trip to Malta in January/February to start on 8th April. It has all been cancelled on us now due to COVID-19. All companies that we prepaid issued a full refund for this special case (all hotels, airbnb, flights through RyanAir, car rental). The only one not offering a refund is our Airport Car Parking through NCP. I find it a bit unbelievable that they only want to offer a 12-month promo code where we do not even know if we'll be able to travel again within 1 year. It's pretty shameful of NCP. Has anyone had any luck with requesting a refund to their non-flexible booking?

I too have been offered a voucher for my parking which had to be cancelled with APH Manchester airport. On there section 2 of their t & c's state that if you give 24 hours or more notice you are entitled to a full refund. No mention of flexible. I also booked through PayPal and they don't want to know either. How can you be expected to accept a voucher if you don't know if you will travel in the next 12 months or not. It's wrong and immoral1

Aylesbury_Duck, I agree they are doing more than they technically have to but it is worth noting that even RyanAir made us right! I think they are out of step with what the best thing to do is in this very unique, one time circumstance.

You? Their employees? Their shareholders (if any)?

For anyone who cares to know, I got emailed the offer of the voucher. I have to pick 1 of 5 airports ahead of time that it will be valid at. So I have to know that I'll travel before 31st March 2021 and I have to know which airport I'm leaving from. This is grand.0

I’ve got the same issue with NCP. I get their point which is you can still use the car park it’s not our fault you cannot fly. But the original offer of ‘the credit has to be used at the same airport’ was unhelpful as I’m not likely to fly out of that airport again anytime soon. The second offer of it must be an airport is also not ideal. I don’t understand why I cannot be any NCP car park ? What difference does it make to NCP once they’ve decided to offer a refund ?0

Nobody cares at this point but this for fully resolved by calling and talking to a real life human, like the old days. The ncp person was nice, understanding and helpful. Also, looking back, I was being a little b**chy.2
