Why on earth did you let them get so far past illegality?
Very good question.  Had adaptive cruise control repaired which require a full 4 wheel alignment in June new front tyres were then replaced July/August, at a quick glance they looked fine.  Then I assumed they were fine and we all know what assume means  :)  Not very clever I know.

Don't think I'll be rushing to buy Michelin Primacy tyres again.

I've never had an issue with Tyresonthedrive in the few years I have used them, convenience of having them done at work. They are good price wise also.

I most certainly have! Last year, ordered two tyres and arranged fitting. What appeared to be a schoolboy turned up. I wanted one tyre fitting to a brand new alloy wheel, the other on an existing wheel. Job done off he toddled to his next class.
When fitting the new alloy, and not expecting it, discovered gouges caused by the tyre machine.
Took pictures, didn't fit the wheel, contacted them. Warrington based, I think.
Now, to be fair to them as a company, and after seeing the pictures, they requested I buy another new alloy and send them a copy of the receipt. They did refund in full and send someone to fit said tyre to replacement new wheel.
As someone has said, it all depends on who does the job. I doubt it was a fault with the machine because the other tyre fitting was fine. A case of poorly trained and/or inexperienced schoolboy?

My son used Kwikfit mobile and was very happy with them.  The tyres were surprisingly very competitively priced.  The guy turned up on time, changed the tyres, swapped front to back and balanced the old wheels foc.
