It's an ornamental grape called BRANDT, we put one in at the front gate in Hampshire and it grew and grew and rambled right along the top of the fence and gave kilos of deep purple but small grapes every year. Very sweet and edible but full of pips and one year I thought I'd try grape jelly and it was really tasty so I made every year from then on. Fab thing and the new one is growing away by the fence here and getting visibly bigger every day. Looking forward to grapes next year!3

She probably needs a break from social media. She was spending a lot of time on the forums, and ultimately that's not good for anyone's mental or physical health. I am trying to cut down on the amount of time I'm plugged in, there is a real life out there. One life - your life - live it!6

I think she's probably ok, there had been some 'discussion' about some of her posts on another thread, and I don't think it was well received. It wasn't nasty it was just folks who aren't retired and self sufficient financially pointing out that lockdown would have to ease so that people could afford to live and not everyone was in her position. There was no malice but just a reminder that her circumstances were not everyone's.4

If someone has decided to have a break from the forum, they wouldn’t normally go as far as deleting their username, which I think you’d have to ask MSE Towers to do, wouldn’t you? (Not sure). Especially after several years of being a well-respected poster. ☹️☹️
It may be that the whole lockdown thing and being isolated from friends and family had started to have a really bad effect. Being in a similar position, I know that I am starting to go a bit peculiar, too. 🤔 🥴
Plus, being in that isolated position, one tends to spend more time on the forum and maybe over-rely on it for ‘social interaction’, and so things that rankle can maybe start to grow to enormous proportions.
I am only surmising, though.
It’s such a shame. I don’t like to think of anyone being that upset, especially when there’s no way of getting to them to assure them they are ok.
Unless........can this part of the forum be seen when you’re locked out? If so, maybe she can read some posts of reassurance on here?
(I ask, because neither The Arms nor DT can be seen when logged out now.....it used to be just DT on the old forum, but now it’s The Arms as well).
