Oh yes PYXIS, and we believe you.
Gosh P-J that is an adventurous menu. I had sausage, chips and beans for lunch. I've had these chips lurking at the bottom of the freezer for far too long but they were OK. I am trying to use up the most ancient food first.
Now, a friend has offered to give me a lift to Tescos next week at one of the wrinkly times. I would dearly love some fresh fruit and veg and salad stuff but not quite sure If this is breaking the rules or not. She has said that I can sit in the back of the car and I think it possibly safer than going on the bus, which is my only alternative. Any thoughts on this?I believe that friends are quiet angels

It's probably the same as getting a taxi Monna - just keep as far away as you can from your friend. It's not just about the rules, it's about your safety. I've had/got the virus - I'm on week 5, still have a low-level fever and some other symptoms, and have just been given a HUGE bag of antibiotics, as there is a new theory that prolonged fever caused by COVID-19 may be due to bacterial infection. Due to the dosage, and the fact I'm taking more than one kind of AB, I have 60 tablets to take over the next week and a complicated schedule for taking them. My GP has told me that this is experimental, and that it's a pretty aggressive treatment, but although the weekend will be pretty rough, I should start to feel better on Monday or Tuesday. If not, then I need to go back again.
So even if you don't get the fast and aggressive version where you are hospitalised sometime between days 5 and 10, the long running version isn't very nice either (I'm just coming to the end of week 5).
If at all possible, get things delivered. It isn't ideal, but at least you're minimising your exposure to people breathing germs.15 -

yes we have a bus ride away from any supermarket. Luckily my youngest son is doing the shop for me n his bro. Next to getting tested the food situation is crucial to this lockdown result.I would not mind getting a Basic ration box left at my door for a fee. Morrisons are doing that for £30 £5 delivery but don't know whats in it. I really dint want to go out at the moment and they are saying next week will be the peek. Can we all say what has made us laugh or inspired us today.Heres mine my sons friend has posted on ig hes drawn a new hairstyle on his bald head with a felt tip pen hilarious has a superman curl and everything.Take a look at taskmaster on you tube “Olympics in your kitchen” so funny. From horse racing cricket torville and dean take off brilliant laugh out loud
so whats made you laugh or proud, random acts of kindness. I left a packet of choc chip cookies on my neighbours step today i told her about them of course. 😑”Pour yourself a drink, (tea for me now)

Could your friend not just get you the things you need instead of you going?
