Apologies - I didn't realize (:P) I would be judged on my spelling / grammar.

What is the Issue Date on your County Court Claim Form?
24th November - I have today acknowledged the claim using the steps outlined here - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6108153/suggested-template-defence-to-adapt-for-all-parking-charge-cases-where-they-add-false-admin-costs/p1

@KeithP - I am about to follow the 'Submit your defence' steps that you included.  Does this differ from the 'Start defence' button on the MCOL?

It is important when submitting documents to CCBC or to a court, that you use correct English, grammar and punctuation so that the judge knows what you mean.  Getting into the habit now will stand you in good stead later.  You are not being judged merely guided.
You don't submit your defence via MCOL but you send it using the e-mail address given in @KeithP's instructions.

As @Le_Kirk says, do not file a Defence via MCOL.

With a Claim Issue Date of 24th November, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Tuesday 29th December 2020 to file your Defence.
That's over four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.

And we leave it to the judge to judge

On here you get advice , good advice , including spelling mistakes , grammar , everything , because it matters in legal topics. You may even get Latin included too 😜

Think of this as your homework , which will be assessed and marked

If your pc is set to USA , it will mess up your defence using auto correct

Leave it to the claimant and their poodles to make a mess of this , you need to be above reproach

We have seen many forum aided cases on here where the judge was impressed with the defendant bundle and really laid into the claimant bundle and their poodles
  • Great - Thanks Everyone. Would it be useful for anyone to review my defence before i file it?  I assume I should not post it on here.
  • Are you using the template defence from the NEWBIES thread as the basis? If yes then you only need to post the two items where you are asked to give your own words. (The rest of the items stay as-is).

Why do you assume not to show us your Defence?

Are you looking at any other threads to see how others are progressing their issues?

It is up to you if you want anyone to review your Defence, and post the changed paragraphs here if you like.
