County court claim form

The background is for non payment of an Excel car park on 19/10/17. I tried to pay by phone over what I thought was the correct number, it wasn’t they said I would be let off if I could prove I’d rung them at all. My phone company doesn't issue bills, so I couldn’t do this and didn’t appeal. Do you think I have a case worth pursuing and if so any tips on what to put in my defence?

What is the Issue Date on your County Court Claim Form?
As both the replies you received on your earlier thread... you need to be reading the second post on the NEWBIES thread which has all the information you need at this stage.1 -
They are asking for £235 for an original £60/100 fine.
It is not a fine, it is an invoice from an ex clamper and they are acting unlawfully, read this
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6014081/abuse-of-process-district-judge-tells-bwlegal
and report the cheating law firm to the SRA
https://www.sra.org.uk/mysra/Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and has been known to get the charge cancelled.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully, when life gets back to normal, it will become impossible for those scammers who are left to continue their vile trade, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

Don’t quite understand the significance of this for, ie. how far away from actually being taken to court it is. ?
If you defend it , assume 6 to 12 months before you can speak to the judge in civil court near you
