Afternoon all, Its been much cooler and cloudier today. I know dh has had some heating on upstairs but the kids and I are keeping moving so not so bad down here.
Today i've
checked banking
made a cheese sauce from scratch with the help of ds1, going to have this tonight over some mushrooms with some potato and veg, the mushrooms suddenly seemed to turn so thats why its become todays concoction!
Had ham butties for lunch as the pack I bought yesterday was dated today, I hadn't noticed when I bought it
Will go for our walk around the block for exercise after tea.
Made a temporary notice board for ds2 - well i say made... i found a long piece of wood in the garage and have stuck the papers onto it using bluetac, I had put a notice board in my amzn basket for £13.99, got to check out and then realised I was being stupid!
* washed a load on the quick 30 degree wash, hung on the line and it dried which is a surprise, its all very cold so hung up on hangers upstairs and will put them all away before bed.
Thats about it, take care all.

Afternoon folks
This morning I went shopping. I procrastinated before going so I ended up wasting most of the morning. I was able to get most things on my list in Aldi including wholemeal pasta, whole grain rice. I also noticed they had toilet roll!
They limited the number of people allowed in the store at any point the rest of us waited in a socially distanced queue outside, everyone was patient, I'm pleased to say.
Today's plan:
Write a meal plan
Write a shopping list
Go shopping and stick to the list where possible
Put ALL the shopping away
B/L/D sticking to the plan
Dried the washing on the airer as it was cold and damp here
Home Educated the children for free
OH payday
Check bank accountsFashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
79.5 coupons rolled over 4/75.5 coupons spent - using for secondhand purchases
One income, home educating family5 -

Hi all, just checking in here, felt a bit of a lost day to day mostly trying to work, but still some unresolved issues. Including some in my head!
Cooked a veggie dinner w crepes, corn bread and veggie sauce w beans for the crepes. Quite nice. Cornbread got a bit burned though!
Stay sane, remember to get out for a bit even if it looks a bit gloomy! It's still daylight out there - most of the day.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Morning all,
Well its only 4am and I've been awake since about 2am so got up an hour ago and I've closed off my March cashbook and set up the new one for the tax year. I'm a little late doing this but with the kids home schooling my youngest is using my computer during the day so thought I may as well do it now as I was laid awake anyway.
For the rest of today my plans arerun the dishwasher on the quick wash DONE and empty
run the washing machine on the quick 30 degree wash and hang on the line to dry DONE (nothing will be ironed, all just hung away - that's one thing I'm not missing... ironing dh's work clothes!)
keep the heating off as much as possible (make sure everyone has layers on before switching on)
share bath water later
exercise from home using the links the gym sent us (and get out for our daily walk after dh finishes for the day)
update freezer list after Tuesdays shopping
check fridge to make sure nothing is going to waste before planning today's food DONE and doing a food plan for the next couple of days
make a date cake as I have all the ingredients in and it lasts so well.
keep tabs on ds's and their schooling DONE
ask for a refund for a show we'd booked as the newly arranged date won't be any good for us DONE
check tcb & £co DONE
file insurances paperwork (I hate to admit it but last week, I just renewed both cars and the house insurance - I never do this normally, I always follow the mse guides but there was just too much going on with dh being ill and sorting the kids out. Over the 3 policies it cost us £32 more in total but I was prepared to accept that for ease this year.
That is plenty to be getting on with, take care all.

Morning 1LL, fellow insomniac here - not sure why as I have been sleeping quite well, for me, recently! Was awake till about 3am, up again just after 6 to walk the dog. Not sure how productive I will be today, but I coffee will help, I am sure!Today's list:Fold yesterday's laundry and put in airing cupboard, except for OH's trousers, that need mending (wish I didn't hate sewing!) Done, except for sewing, where is DNMS when you want herDeep clean of main bedroom, window, curtains, cobwebs etc. It isn't too bad as I do clean it weekly as a matter of course. Will include tidying wardrobe etc.Regular clean of main bathroomTake stuff off dresser in lounge and dust it (quite a big job!)Sow some broad bean seedsNot much cooking needed today as I have food in the fridge made over the last couple of days that needs usingIf I get anything else done I will take that as a win!Hope everyone is ok.6

All right so I'm always a bit behind schedule, but I want some butternut, corn, sunflower and french bean seeds and everywhere is sold out, I suspect they are just not packing and sending - any ideas where to go! I might just try wilc0 or S4insbury but am I just wayyyyy too late?
I just need to fill the garden, my rugola has sprouted and I'm very proud of that, but now I want more!Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

@DawnW and @1LuckyLady hope you get some rest today and a decent nights sleep tonight.Today’s list is small but productive in the current climate:
make soup
make hummus
eat biscuits made yesterday for pudding
unsubscribe from a few e mails
finish sock and cast on second one of pair
water seedlings- use a drinks bottle that didn’t get finished yesterday
message a couple of people
watch ‘how to’ video on uu tube for something
review menu plan now shopping is here
have a good day all. Purps.5 -
Morning all. Like others I had a poor night of 'sleep' - dog woke me howling to go out at 2am then couldn't get back to sleep. Then got up late and realised I had 9am work mtg.
Not sure how good I'll be today esp as I promised DD I'd sit and do school work with her at lunch but now I see I have mtgs most of the day!
Money wise, spent nothing yesterday, might look at a veg box delivery today as fresh stuff is what we don't have. Not urgent.
No other tasks except staying sane. Stress is up as chest is v tight again but it's acid reflux I'm sure, always used to be bad like this before I got diagnosed. It actually makes my airways tighten up as well. But managing that is making all other anxiety hard to handle.
That's it. I have already loaded and set the dishwasher so that's a small win. Will go for gentle walk later with dog, didn't manage it the last 2 days.
