What small DFW things will you do this w/c 30/03

Options
When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.

Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important 😁

  • Hi...I need some advice. If I set up a DMP will it affect my mortgage? My current fixed rate deal runs out next year and I’ll be looking for another...any thoughts?

You might be better posting a new thread just for this topic so you get the best advice.
  • Hi everyone. This week I will Check banks, though most payments don't go til 2nd and the last main one on 9th.Not go anywhere Try harder at work. My concentration is shot but I want to keep this job as they've treated me well. Also concentrating keeps the anxiety at bay.Continue to make all meals from stores. No other choice now!Check that my old sub is cancelled. Not heard back from them yetRead books I already ownWalk the dogTry and do a bit more around the house. I'm nobody's houseproud person but I've been worse than usual lately just stress I think.Speaking of. My main priority is staying level. I've had panic attacks this week for the first time in a while and I know it's triggered by stress. So, Headspace, taking naps and eating my vitamins is important. Sunshine and fresh air too if only in the garden for 10 minutes. making lists helps like these little to-do goal lists!
That's it. Priority right now is safety. Lucky to have my wonderful DH and DD who is even now bringing me a cup of filter coffee.
Stay safe everyone. If you're a fellow anxiety sufferer and want to reach out feel free. I have literally written the book.

    -banking all checked, everything okay
-must put ironing away I did yesterday (I surprised myself that I knew what the iron looked like )!
-it was so cold this morning. Froze my bits off waiting outside the chemist, but once it opened I got everything I needed so was very happy but there was such a long queue behind me by the time I left.
    -food from stores today
-must do some paperwork and have been recommended some online courses I could do.
-need to run the hoover over.
-have unpacked everything that has arrived from Amazon. It's just a shame I cant put some of the things in the normal animal charity collection point at the minute
That's about it from me. I'm sure there is more.
    Take care TryingAgain sending hugs
