narco.. I couldn't give a rats R's what any numpty has to say.. nothing anyone says will change a single thing.. and I am quite happy sat at home (have I mentioned I hate school runs??) with my people.. waiting to hear news about my Germany cousins (10 and 12) how they are doing (diagnosed with The Plague last week along with their aunt, uncle and baby cousin and very aged grandma) and for DS1 to be released from his enclosure (he became ill with it last Tuesday or Wednesday) so a few days left. Ultimately everyone will be exposed because they have to be for it to be less of an issue for future generations.. the common cold killed people from secluded communities and the Martians from War ot the Worlds! .. this is just the same but the world has become a much smaller place. We can only do what we can do and hope our loved ones aren't too badly affected. I have 7 elderly relatives and in-laws who wouldn't stand a chance, aged 66 to 93 & I have a grandbaby due in 3 weeks I probably won't get to see for a while.. it is horrible but we can't change it so we accept it and ride it out.. sending hugs .... it won't be forever xxxxx
We have the huge luxury of being able to keep in touch by phone or email, videos or online.. during the war no one had that. No one knew what was happening to those in the forces or those at home for months on end.. we are extremely fortunate in that respect. We may come out the other side looking like the people from Wall-E with beards to our knees and hair like wild people and the monobrow from Hell ... but we will mostly be ok.. This sucks for people all over the world, we are again fortunate to have homes and access to running water and health care.. we will very much appreciate our liberties and luxuries by the end of this and not take things for granted for 5 minutes. focus on the things you can do to make a difference.. Ring people for chats, I find trolling people on the internet a fun way to lose a few hours, clear those emails, catch up on things you never have time for.. It will be over and done with soon and you will never have time for those things again! I try to just focus on the reasons we have it good, serious case of Pollyanna syndrome.. and my house is still a bear pit.. I may just be a lazy dollop!!! lol
tranquiliser darts for BD's will be placed in the corner shortly!
Jazee.. I loathe sand and hot... I'm still off to Narnia.. that Snowy Witch will wish she had stayed in bed!!
Girls flung outside.
OH got the tiles out... where do you start? Nearest corner? Furthest corner? What if it's not square? Can you even tile on wood? And the sink.. do you remove it? Will that mean I have to redo everything around it? How do you get it back on? Can I no-nails the sink to the wall?? Do I use all three colours or just 1 or 2?? (Black white and grey) This is why I NEVER get a thing done!!
i need to scoop all of DS1's clothes into a pile and wash and dry them before he returns I think.. I really want to repaint in there.. it is a mess.. hasn't been done for 12 years!! (Where the heck did that time go?!!!) I was thinking 'a few years' but it was done just before my sisters 21st birthday.. and she is 33 in August.... OUCH! Well that is incentive.. OH can tile and make tiley decisions and I shall gather and paint.. after vacuuming the most disgusting stairs!! They have NEVER been as bad as they are right now..
Ooooh tea.... cuppa first.. then it's food time.. then it's bed time... then it is tomorrow and I have still done nothing at all!
I only came in here to buy chicken wire! Honestly... I am the Supreme High Emperor of Procrastination!!

So I've been quite lazy but I have put the WM on and made a Toots list. I've split it into big and small jobs. I think most of the big jobs will need to be delegated and some need funds
Never mind I can start with the small doable jobs.
Just had a lovely chat with one of my workmates on FaceTime. I miss my workies and my customers. I'm struggling with the lack of nonsense and banter.I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged8 -
NN have told DS they are going to have a bbq - just the two of them I hope - so I've brought in my washing, which is dry anyway, folded it and put it in piles ready to go upstairs.
I need to write a list of what I have to do / buy tomorrow - pick up prescription, pay rent, buy stamps, buy food etc etc so that I can do it all in one trip.
frodders - there may be a network of tunnels but I'm claustrophobic so unable to use them. I use the Star Trek 'beam me up' transporter - or I believe there are Harry Potter type portkeys dotted around the country.Welcome aboard

Well that told me. I do appreciate all we have compared with many. Just meant I'd miss going for a run every other day, that's all. I have plenty to do. Shuts mouth quickly.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10

Well it was morning, then it became afternoon, then even that disappeared...
Sorry to be annoying but I’m going to list what little I have done, as it will make me feel better. Feel free to skip....Dug a smaller patch than I would have wished for at the allotment, as I was working with a timer on.
Back home to empty and manhandle a piece of furniture with DH from downstairs to upstairs via the garden.Refill said piece of furniture in its new home (that used to be its old home..).
Repeat above steps again in reverse with another (bigger) piece of furniture.
Stashed some of the inexplicable bits that now seem to have no home into the spare room.
Found that our bed is now covered in more Stuff that now has no home.
Cleaned the bathroom, s&s the ensuite.
Now to make dinner and a cake. Nope - pause on that - DH has another job for me....
DH stressing as DSiL is on front line care at the hospital where a nurse has died today.
See I did warn you to skip....10 -
Narco, I will also be annoyed if outdoor exercise is banned because of idiots, and the dogs, lazy as they are, won't be too pleased either.Spend less now, work less later.10

that was not how it was meant and you know it! It is too easy to look at the bad side of things which is what it sounds like 99% of people are doing.. And running should be banned anyway.. crazy beings lol.. OHs friend does marathons.. for fun.. whacko!! Sofas were invented for a reason! haha !!
Did you see the CDC are recommending wearing those silly fabric homemade masks even if you are not unwell now.. in case you might be unwell and have no symptoms.. erm... no... I would rather never set foot outside of my front door again! I don't do things on my face.. for any reason..
OH sent off to the shop again.. I swear milkevaporates in here.. no one has ever slurped it when I ask.

Hi all
I have actually had a lovely day here in the real world. After DS2s tears last night and DS1 waking me up in the middle of the night scared because he had a funny throat and felt hot (he is fine) DH rounded us all up and allocated gardening jobs this morning. It was lovely being in the garden in the sun, all four of us chatting and working together. HM burgers eaten, just having a glass of wine then will put the clean washing away. Asda order finalised (I have bought enough to last a couple of weeks to see us through to next delivery slot). Feel quite calm despite what is going on in the world.10 -
Good evening!
Narco I totally agree! I was ranting at the news earlier, saying there is no point watching it as we now know what she is going to say 🤬 Spoilers!! 🤣
I spent some time at the allotment, weeding and filling a raised bed. Then came home for some lunch - there was no bread, so had an omelette.
Popped to the shop for bread & milk, and bought some mars bars, cookies & flapjacks! Necessities!!
We are just about to do an online quiz! Back later!11
