Morning x
I wish I could sleep properly. DDs still in bed once she gets up and puts her day jammies on I'll get the night ones in the WM. (Piggers we put clothes on to go to the PO on Friday but apart from that we are in jammies they are easier washed and dried anyway!)
Might do the other hall cupboard today or my wardrobe not sure which or any. I might join Round and read a book.I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged12 -

Round 1 completed + took clean dry clothes upstairs.
It must be catch-up Sunday: I've received phoned calls from L and from S, and made a call to H. I pay as you go, but had a text to say that I can make unlimited UK phone calls for free between 8pm and 8 am on weekdays and all day at weekends until 1st June due to the present challenging situation. Every little helps
Congratulations kazw xx I am great aunt to Olivia aged 2, so it will be a while before I become a great great!
I will peg out the towels / tea towels when they finish swishing. I may will WUDUPA a bowl of pots this afternoon.

Round, it's definitely read a book Sunday.Just back from a very long walk with the dogs, was lovely to be out in the countryside around our village. Before I went I did the dailies, watered plants and s&sd the bathrooms.Spend less now, work less later.12

Afternoon all
3 x wm run, and it’s all dried on the line, the basket is nearly empty, I’m not quite sure how 2 people can create so much laundry... but I have done two loads of towels and two of bedding this weekend so it’s not all clothes!!DH has washed all the downstairs windows outside, including the conservatory, I washed down the front door and porch, it was a lovely excuse to be out in the sun... DH also mowed the lawns and did some weeding so it’s looking tidier. I still have the fence to paint but I think that might be next weekends job.
In between shuttling back and forth the garden with washing I’ve been sitting and reading my book, most civilised. This afternoon I’m going to make a stew for tomorrow evening, then tonight we are having roast chicken.
Ok, I’m off back to my book now. Catch you all on the new thread xx11 -

Afternoon!
Woke up at work time (again) and, after lazing around downstairs for ages, I have;
Watered house plants except Himself's Spider that lives a precarious existence jammed between a laptop and guitar audio interface in a darkened room but seems to love it. I suspect the warmth is more a factor than his serenading it regularly.
Consigned the Poinsettia to the compost.
Replanted a surprisingly not-quite-dead-yet Aloe that has a tiny green shoot into the Poinsettia's pot.
Put the Thyme in a pot cover and added to the sunny windowsill collection of greenery.
Watered the windowboxes.
Thrown out the leftovers himself left out.
Cleared the countertop.
Cleaned the drainer and countertop with bleachy hot water.
Cleaned the top of the fridge, washing machine and freezer. Including when he came down and remembered where he'd moved the 20 year pack of cocktail sticks to - as if its home in the cutlery drawer wasn't good enough, he moved it to the very top shelf of a cupboard I can't reach - and used one to get the crud out of the appliance edges.
Sorted the baking cupboard.
Presented him with a pile of instruction booklets and guarantees that were down the back of the cupboard/wedged over the back of the kitchen crapdrawer and suggested that he starts up a file for them.
Swept up.
Hotwashed towels and his pillowcase. Which involved getting him to open his eyes before midday, so go me!
Cleared and cleaned the table.
Just sitting down to have a smoothie he's made and then, if I can be bothered, going to whisk around the upstairs bathroom for ten minutes whilst he sorts the washing up. Once that's done, there will be the hob and final countertop to bleach.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll10 -
jojo that all sounds exhausting, have a rest.
Went for a run. Dreading the threat of no outdoors exercise being allowed just because of a few pillbox.
2 loads washing hung out.
Watched online church service.
2nd half of veg bed dug. Thanks for your various suggestions about the spare peas, I'll see how many germinate.
Sat around doing online jigsaw which I seem to be addicted to.
Why oh why do the media insist on telling us what the Queen is going to say? Or what they think she's going to say. I want to hear it when it's broadcast, not the day before. Oddly, with all that's going on, it's the one thing that's brought me to the verge of tears , when I'm not fuming about it. I guess it's another loss of control - I want to decide what I watch, not be told in advance. Rant over. Back to my peas.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10 -
Afternoon all, I have washed up and put some washing in but not much else.
round, I would love to join a flylady holiday to anywhere! Just working out how to get to pigpen's wardrobe - is there a network of secret tunnels so we can get there without having to go out?!!
I have finished two books this week (I have two on the go at the same time - one downstairs and one in the bedroom!) and started one more. Need to decide on the second one to start today. Also determined to get some cross stitching done this week.
