I rang repeatedly yesterday, and couldn't get through, even to a queue.I understand there call volumes are up from 5000-6000 calls a day to 21000 calls.

I'm surprised the increase is only that much.
I guess people can only keep trying.

Mines due 16th May, cant get through to them, nor have I had any contact from them. Im keeping a log of every time I call and its outcome.I hoping to postpone ours for a 12 months, but not sure how we stand. My fear is Travel will be back to normal ish by August and we will have to go or loose money.Personally I dont wont to go, nor do I think anyone should be traveling until October at best to reduce a second wave of the virus.

If all else fails - write out (best typed) a detailed precise signed written instruction to TUI authorising them to charge the balance in full to your credit card - quoting relevant information on the card and your holiday booking reference etc.
Send by Recorded Delivery at a cost of £2.00 odds (£2.06 I believe) addressed to CEO by name at Luton.
Delivery will be flagged up on the Royal Mail online tracking site with a scanned image of the receiving signature.
Then you'll have proof of a genuine attempt to settle the balance which TUI can't deny.
Also, warn your credit card company in advance to ensure they details.of a significant transaction.

Have you taken a look on the TUI website and read the Covid page to locate the correct number?

Those 2 numbers are the ones given on the TUI website for store bookings.

I guess it's sheer volume of calls.
Also worth noting that open times for calls is Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30.

I have tried every number I can locate for TUI
    0203 636 1931, 0203 636 1997, 0800 009 3836, 0203 451 2688, and 0845 682 0190
Unfortunately they are either all engaged or if you do get through it just says they have a high volume of calls and cuts you off.  I did get through to a queue yesterday but after holding for 45 mins it then just cut off.  Good luck in trying to get through.

Mine is due today, I have given up, I have tried numerous times over the last 10 days. I have kept a log of times and dates. We are not due to fly out until 2nd August. That said how this 2 weeks post ISO works in practice along with the things Greece want befroe you arrive ( still in discussion) it would appear to be mission impossible on all fronts.

We have managed to get through to someone and they have suggested for us to email stockton@tui.co.uk (I believe this is the email address for the TUI call centre) to ask if we can make a final payment and how we go about making the transaction. I suggest adding your booking reference, departure date, outstanding balance and the id of the branch you booked at (if you have it). I wouldn't provide any bank details though, wait until you get a reply.
We are still calling/ on hold in case we can speak to someone else who can take payment.
