Does an unlocked mobile become locked to the first sim inserted

the phones (unless specificly) and phones suplierd by the likes of vods , o3 etc etc , and are boxed as such , so any that are boxed as vodaphone are locked to vodaphone 

for many yrs phones cost the networks big vucks and they did not want you to leave after contract , so made it hard to just swop sim 

if the phone is sold as "sim free" then it will be unlocked

All car phone warehouse phones came unlocked except iphone which was unlocked then locked to sim you put in all carphone warehouse phones come unlocked they just sometimes sell phone with sim and if you buy sim free from them just means you dont get a sim with it

Not anymore. They stopped doing that a few years ago!

Yes, CPW stopped the locking to first sim in 2016 for sim free iPhones.
