Checking in w 13 NSD days, grateful for flowers, for TWIN, binge watched last night as had too much coffee, grateful for out of date organic white tea, for granola, for 10 days until pay day.
As my ribs are now better, I will start decorating project in the evenings this week. Step 1 is emptying and moving 2 full height book shelves, washing walls and decorating w 2 layers - magnolia to white is actually hard to get to cover.
Have a productive day everybody.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Hi all, yesterday we decided to get takeaway as OH was working a long shift, today I went food shopping so no more NSDs. Had a minor breakdown at OH this morning, said I was stressed from trying to stay on top of all the household admin and felt more like his mum then his wife as I’m constantly having to remind or nag him of things. He seemed to accept this (hard to do an in depth convo with little one around) but whilst I was shopping, he did two loads of washing and cleared up the kitchen. Hopefully we can discuss further tonight (LO is currently napping but far too easy to wake up). Also talked about me trying to relearn how to ride a bike (I’m the exception to the rule) so might go do that later. Today I’m grateful for OH doing the washing, being able to get everything on my shopping list and for LO seeing me getting ready to go out and deciding she was going to and trying to put her shoes on (she has a wander in the garden with daddy instead)

I've forgotten to post for a few days but not much to report. I'm up to 16 NSDs which is good, need to keep plugging. Did a top up food shop yesterday and ordered some vitamins online. My friend had a virtual birthday party online last night where we all had drinks and did a quiz together, it was good fun and a bit different. Reminded me that we don't always have to be face to face to have a good catchup.
Grateful for good weather today, walking loads, my snuggly blanket, the tree outside our house starting to flower, and a slower pace of life.7 -
Another NSD
I haven't done very much apart from cook dinner but , strangely, I'm beginning to feel a bit more positive. Maybe the hiccup has gone and I'm getting back to some kind of normality.
I started a new book last night. A John Le Carre which has been on the bookshelf for ever. It's really good and I'm already half way through it. Himself is usually quite slow at reading books but he read three last week.
Beautiful day today. Hope it continues and I might venture out to sit on the porch tomorrow.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.8 -
Today I am grateful for the robin who likes to hop around the garden, for seeing some neighbours, for having more mobility in my ankle, for successfully making a chocolate spread that I like from very old hazelnuts, for a good night's sleep, for my needlefelting, for Columbo re-runs, for lovely sunshine.

Today was not a NSD as I braved the shops, and it was relatively painless, did A1di, L1dl and Mr T's. No queue except Mr Ts and it was less than 5 minutes. Still no flour in any of them though. I lost my list in the first shop, and so I had to wing it, and ended up spending twice as much as I expected, and I think it will do me a fortnight, except cereal, I only have 4 boxes of cereal, so that will maybe do a week (shaking head in despair emoji needed).Made Eton Mess and they scoffed the lot (ys strawberries I could not leave behind) So, the fridge is full, the freezer is respectable, and the pantry is a cavern of wonders. They are making peanut butter chocolate brownies tomorrow. If they do their homework nicely.I have only 1lb left to lose to hit the next stone down now. I am making a huge effort without doing exercise yet. That comes next.Grateful for: the scales finally moving downwards, still being in budget, having a clean kitchen, even if it bores the pants off me cleaning it, and that I have a lovely man who shares the cooking with me while he is working from home, and really appreciates my work keeping the house clean and tidy. So lots of things to be grateful for today, yesterday was a rotten day. So still on NSD134/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
