Hi I am looking to replace OH mobile. He has been using a NOKIA and the buttons are starting to drop off ! He has great difficulty in remembering how to use his phone so would like one as simple as possible that has quite large buttons and is quite chunky in itself.
I would like to be able to unlock it for free unless I can buy it on O2 network.
TIA

I suggest the Nokia 1600. I recently bought direct from the T-mobile website for £14.99 inc delivery, and as I bought through Quidco I'm hoping to get £10 cashback (it has tracked). Chachi gave me a code for unlocking. I think this deal is still available.0

some of the newer 1600's can only be unlocked by service equipment.0

cheapest basic phone on o2 is the nokia 2310 available through o2 retail for £29.99, its basically like the old fashioned nokia's (3 series and 1 series but with a colour screen, even uses the same batteries and chargers as the 1 series i think)things arent the way they were before, you wouldnt even recognise me anymore- not that you knew me back then MercilessKiller wrote: »BH is my best mate too, its ok MercilessKiller wrote: »BH is my best mate too, its ok

lots of good offers on at the mo - asda offering a nokia (sorry, can't remember model but quite basic) for free with a £20 top-up. I seem to remember some other similar deals being around, but not the detail.......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple 0 0

I know this is right, but I have recently bought and unlocked 3 Nokia 1600s from T-Mobile with free codes - so I'd say it's worth consideration. I also forgot to say before the phone looks good, seems robust, has a long-lasting battery and has a simple icon-based menu.0

Sorry I am not very familiar with this. May I ask who is Chachi, and how do I go about asking him/her for a code to unlock a phone?0

How do you "generate a code"Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0
