Has anybody been successful in getting a refund from Travelpack?0

No I have not received my money back they said ten weeks that was around five months ago. I don't think they will pay. I would go there if I was you and kick up a fuss or small claims court. If lots of people do that it will bankrupt them like they deserve0

Whilst I can understand annoyance at broken time frames, I expect TravelPack are waiting on a refund from the airline. They don’t have your original money and won’t pay you a refund until they themselves receive it from the airline that presumably cancelled your flight.0 -
Westin is absolutely right and Travelpack sold a lot of flights to Canada and all three Canadian airlines have been a nightmare, refusing point-blank to refund at all for the first 5 months and then creating delays to make things worse. Westjet is the least bad, Air Transat by far the worst, as shown by the hundreds of complaints in this forum alone0

Was there a reason you waited so long rather than doing a Chargeback or Section 75 ?0

What have Travelpack told you when you reconnected with them and told them that the airline had confirmed a refund made to them?0 -
I booked flights to Bali from Travelpack in mid January 2020 to depart September 2020. After the pandemic kicked in, we hung on in the hope that we'd still be able to go, but by the beginning of August, it was apparent that the holiday would not go ahead. I tentatively made enquiries what my options were. I'd booked accommodation separately and managed to get refunds directly from the hotels with relatively little trouble. Travelpack procrastinated. We were in lockdown and Indonesia were not accepting UK travellers (although my flight was still scheduled). Eventually they agreed to refund my flight fees. They initially set lengthy deadlines, then blamed Qatar Airways for not refunding them. Like most people, I'm very aware of the difficulties that travel operators and airlines face, and wanted to be reasonable. By November, Travelpack were still informing me that the airline hadn't refunded them. I was to wait and see what would happen in December. I felt that enough was enough and made a claim to my credit card. Within a fortnight, I'd received a full refund from The Halifax. Was this Travelpack's fault? I'm not sure but I know of many other people who had their refunds reconciled much more promptly than I did.0

Did you manage to get a 100% refund? I eventually received my refund in October, but minus £25 admin fee and £4.50 in SAFI and l Protection & Bonding Levy levies.
