What method of payment did you use?webster460 said:We booked flights to Bali with Cathay Pacific through Travel pack in September last year.
As things have progressed, our flights have been either changed or cancelled.
I have contacted Travelpack about getting a refund for the flights, £1400, they are now saying that Cathy Pacific have taken over the booking and therefore Travelpack are not responsible for the refund. Having contacted Cathay, they state that they are not responsible for the booking as they have not received any money for the tickets.
Where do I go with this next??

A friend of mine was trying to get a refund too, but I don't know what happened. I haven't heard from him some time now, so I don't know if he get it or not... Anyway, that Travelpack is going to be bankrupt, that's a fact!0

Unfounded speculation is not helpful. No ‘fact’ in your post. As a start why not talk to your friend for an update.Dreambox said:A friend of mine was trying to get a refund too, but I don't know what happened. Has anyone had any joy getting a refund from Travelpack?

My refund has come through - had to phone them about 3 times. If you can get through, definitely worth chasing them up until they process it1

As a matter of interest, was this after 10 weeks you had to phone and chase them up and did you receive a full refund or did they deduct the SAFI (Scheduled Airline Failure Insurance) + All Protection & Bonding Levy charges? They refused to budge on this, but offered to waive the £25 processing fee when I pushed them about it.I'm still waiting for my refund!0

It's only been 30 days since my flight was cancelled however I've already lost patience and gone to my card provider.OrangeSky said:Anon123456789 said:My refund has come through - had to phone them about 3 times. They initially said 8-10 weeks and insisted on the £25pp admin fee, which they refused to budge even when I highlighted that their T&Cs at the time didn't include this charge.
They've now said 8-10 weeks won't be possible and haven't given any other timeline so to be honest, they've left no choice.0 -
I phoned about a week later than every time frame they gave me - initially it was 8 weeks, I phoned after 9, then two weeks, then 2 days. I had a bit of an argument over the £25 the first time I called, but I didn't push it after that - should have though, its a ridiculous fee. Not sure if I'm misinterpreting but something the guy said in the third phone call made it sound like they hadn't started processing the refund until after the second call.0

My mum went to USA in March and when the covid situation worsened her return flight was cancelled. We rebooked her a flight (with an airline direct) as advised by travelpack who we booked her original flight through. We have received a partial refund for canceled return flight but her insurance company have said she can't claim for the new return flight we booked her. Is this correct? Should Travelpack not have offered her a new flight?
