We go through this every time aardvaak posts anything in here...Simple solution for the OP if they have an Android phone already: Use that. Play Store already present.3

Ardvaark. Calm down. You clearly have not understood what poster are telling you.I have a Fire 8 . I can download the Barclays app.First you need to understand that Amazon provide the operating system on their tablets and call it Fire OS.It is a specific version of Android OS tailored by them to be more restictive and point you towards their products and sales. What you need to do is install little programs that add the missing operating system bits so that you can then use all the generic bog standard Android applications such as the Google Play store application and through that the bank app.The little extra progs you need to instal are called APKs and you have been given the links to the instructions how to do it above.Just follow those and then the Google Playstore will be installed on your Fire (rather than you 'looking' at it on your browser - not the same thing at all!!!!)The process to instal APKs is not for the faint hearted -especially if you cannot follow step by step instructions with maybe a few options!Once you have done that you can open the Play store from the icon on your tablet to run that programme. (Not open a browser such as the Silk Browser provided by Amazon!).Then search in the Playstore app from your banks app and install that.Posters have tried to tell you that, in perhaps fewer words, but you obviosly did not understand. If I can do it so can you but do not blame someone else if you mess it up! Good Luck.4
